Yes well I have natal Sun conjunct Saturn/NN (in 7th) so.. talking about those aspects feels a bit redundant. I can't and won't bring myself to talk about my ongoing/unresolved relationship drama. But I do feel this relates to forming professional partnerships and connections, or finding clients.. which remains a challenge. If I were to try to put a positive spin on it, I'm essentially becoming forged in fire by a constant onslaught of rejection, which I hope will eventually serve me well in not being afraid to put myself out there. My Saturn return feels like I am climbing up a toilet as soon as I reach the top of the toilet I get flushed back down again. Since January I’ve been hung over, feverish, migraine, period, flu. So far 2020 sucks! I feel like the theme is picking my miserable self and pushing through job and school. I feel like I’ve been beat up. I want it to be over!! IP: Logged |

I think you're doing better than I did, with your Saturn Return. I saw your first post. You're further along than I was. Mine was partly fun - I had Uranus conjunct my Mars, square Moon/Venus/Nodes, trine Uranus/ascendant. I think Neptune was conjunct my IC, and positively aspecting my fire and air. Pluto was also playing nicely with most of my chart. I dealt with some depression, and a problem person occasionally - my BIL, and trouble he caused. Health-wise, I dealt with bad dizzy spells. Dealing with the exact t. Saturn n. Saturn conjunction right now. Truly does suck and I feel like I've lost the will the live, but not in a dramatic way at all. Just in the most emotionless, apathetic way possible. Nothing is even going wrong, lots of things are going right, my energy just feels zapped. IP: Logged |

Mars?!....too?..I’ve been worried about Jupiter catching up to the 22 degree. I have Saturn 2 degrees past my Saturn things have gotten better but it’s still terrible. So I decided to look up the retrogrades. I was worried at first but I remember that retrogrades are like “breaks” it will go backwards when the school year is over and direct when the school year starts back up IP: Logged |

Prior to my First Saturn Return, I had worked in the UK public sector for 13 years (after leaving school/further-education). At the First Saturn Return, I got a job in the private sector - where I worked for 42 months, before moving back to the public sector (in a post that would have taken me some 10 years to obtain if I had not moved out).So ... natal Saturn (in Virgo/11th, on cusp of 12th) had rewarded me for dutifully serving society as a public sector employee? ... Perhaps. But, at the next opposition of transit to natal Saturn, I retired from work due to ill health; took up astrology as a full-time occupation* and discovered that my natal chart "program" required me to have done the latter at the time of my First Saturn Return. ... Hence, everything had unfolded as intended/"promised" in the natal chart - but some 15 years later than "programmed", because freewill had led to me staying in my career (albeit in the private rather than public sector) instead of pursuing the possibility of becoming self-employed. [ * With hindsight (and the study of astrology), I now see that the natal chart "promise" was for my schooldays+career to teach me about the Law of Cause and Effects during the First Saturn Cycle - which would underpin my subsequent studying-and-practicing of astrology, during the Second Saturn Cycle ... Staying in my career at the First Saturn Return enabled me to acquire practical knowledge of that law (in the workplace, rather than via astrology) - but, when that parallel development ended (at the opposition of transit to natal), Saturn impelled me to "get on with the purpose of this incarnation" by enabling me to no longer have to work-for-an-income/living. And, in that context, ill-health was a gift/motivator rather than a punishment/demotivator - because I was then free to study astrology as a full-time occupation.] IP: Logged |

Thanks for all the replies!Stawr, the day after my birthday I got really sick with the flu and it was miserable, totally threw me off and I still haven't fully recovered my motivation. Definitely an exhausting and tedious uphill climb. teasel, thank you, I still feel like I don't have anything figured out yet and my mortality has been very apparent to me lately. I'm actually gonna be having tUranus square Venus soon, so hoping that might push me out of my comfort zone enough socially to keep branching out and making progress athenaia, I totally understand! I have to keep going through the motions but internally.. if I could just lay down and not get back up, I don't think I'd mind at this point. anonymidarkness, mars should be interesting! I didn't realize it's been conjunct my natal Mercury, maybe part of why I've been feeling more easily irritated lately. Then mercury retrograde is coming up soon too.. Anyway don't worry too much about your return, just start changing small things now and karma/fate will take care of the rest Graham, thanks for sharing your experience! I've been trying to keep that in mind, how sometimes things we think are terrible are actually serving some sort of purpose and work out in the end. Fingers crossed lol IP: Logged |
