He has some pretty big transits going on right now and in the near future. Tr north node on his MC and chiron coming up on his descendant. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated 😊

Is not the key issue likely to be the transit of Uranus through the 8th house of "other people's values"? ... With transit NN and Chiron just flagging-up the importance of that me-vs-them experience to his development as an individual (rather than being a part of the herd)?

[His natal Chiron in Aquarius will already have inflicted its wound of "feeling different from others". The transit of Chiron through Aries will inflict a temporary wound to the self-image of everyone (including him) ... and Uranus is teaching him that "being different" is a reason for taking centre stage (natal Chiron in 5th) rather than striving to "fit in" (transit Chiron in 6th).]

Absolutely, he is very different than children his age and always has been. He was born an old man. The staff at his school calls him "the old soul". I didn't have to teach him so many things, he just knew already. He would walk up to strangers, shake their hand and introduce himself, then strike up a conversation at three years old!

I've asked him if he feels different than the other kids his age and he says yes but can't figure out what it is that causes him to feel this way. I think it's because he struggles with trying to be an average middle schooler and that is in direct contrast to the deep soul he is, and is aware of inside. We have a lot of deep conversations about all kinds of things and his sensitivity and understanding of the inner workings of people really blows me away.

His sun is square mars and Pluto and I see that in how he deals with the frustrations of trying to find his own identity like you us in a very matter of fact way (virgo moon conjunct Saturn). Uranus entering his 8H exactly when this virus has basically shut down the whole country isn't lost on me either. His school has been closed until next year so we'll see how we both handle that.

Might be worth you reading the Poleaxe thread, D2a. ... Since his natal Chiron-Saturn-Uranus poleaxe is currently being activated by transit Neptune.
