At a glance, I think of this aspect as a not so good one. Saturn touching such a vulnerable spot, dealing with our feelings, mental health, emotional well being. Though I could be wrong and it could even end up being a very "securing" one, depending on who it happens to. What can you share about this aspect? Have you ever had it and how did it go for you? hard to point out specifics because i had it square my moon/descendant and venus/ascendant 3x (direct, retrograde,direct) last year all at once (my venus is 16 degrees libra, moon is 17 degrees aries, and my ascendant/descendant is 18 degrees libra/aries) so for me it was ending an almost 15 year relationship (knew her longer 21 years), getting sober, ending 2 fwbs relationships etc and so on overall for the better though, i'm pretty grateful it went the way it did because i couldn't have stayed in all that much longer there was some really rough **** but mostly it all worked out well sometimes hard **** isnt bad so dont worry too much edit: btw it hit my mars (12 degrees cap) before that and my ic (21 degrees cap) right after so it's all kind of mixed up IP: Logged |

I’ve tr. Saturn conjunct my Capricorn Moon, it just separated, 1°, will retrograde back later. Tbh I didn’t notice much aside from my intuitive faculty being blocked, low on energy. Like you said, it could go either way, depends on how self aware one isn’t in general forcing something to manifest externally. Moon is my chart ruler, in a watery 8th House, in Saturn’s domain, so I suppose whatever affect it has on me is fairly familiar maybe subconscious, but because of my natal placement I’m usually already checking myself. Had the opposition 3 years back, had a bit of delay in academics, in short, I flunkedd!!! Natal Moon rules my 9th, lets say my higher studies definitely goes through all phases of the moon...jajaja.. .IP: Logged |

It's trine my Moon right now (and Venus). I'm feeling kind of depressed, although it's a bit better than it was last week. Wishing that I'd got certain things done in the past six weeks, like the seeds I wanted to start - if they'd succeeded, they would have been little starter plants by now. IP: Logged |

Hey Lala  When T.Saturn was square my N.Moon
I learned about my mother having a health problem (with her bones), I was really depressed. My Moon is in Pisces and forms a trine with Sun no negative aspects.
When T.Saturn opposed my aunt's Moon
her mother literally died and came back to life. Doctors confirmed it. It was really bad for my aunt, she got depressed and scared to spend time alone with her mom in case it happened again.
Her Moon is exalted in Taurus and makes trines to Sun and Mars, no hard aspects.
When T.Saturn conjuncted my friend's Moon
her mother died but she was already suffering from cancer. Howver she was supposed to die months earlier but it happened when T.Saturn conjunction to her N.Moon was almost exact.
Her Moon is in Sag, trining Venus, Mars and Jup. No other natal aspects. When T.Saturn conjuncted my other friend's Moon she got depressed because of a breakup and it lasted a few days or so. To be honest it was too mild especially considering that T.Pluto was also on her N.Moon but she has it way too easy in life generally so those few days of suffering were too much for her.
Her Moon in Capricorn opposite N.Mercury, conjunct Chiron. So it definately brings depression and desperation. I can't decide though if and when it will affect one's mother. We all had T.Saturn and our N.Moon in different houses, it affected us in the matters of the house T.Saturn was in but that happens with every house T.Saturn gets in no matter the aspects.

I think more importantly which house your Moon rules will describe the extent of its affect. In the case of my Cancer Rising, my character is just ‘squaring up’ so to speak, recognizing the breadth of my innate worth, and I don’t want to depend on others whatsoever (transit through 8th house). Any Saturn transit will be humbling, not necessarily depressive nor desperate. I’ve had to pick up a dead end job I’m not particularly fond of, but noting to write home about. Saturn’s my “friend” I guess (conjunct my Sun natally) Committing myself to being highly conscious, autonomous and self-preserving, deep-diving and subsequent “shadow work”, daily—Scrubbing the unconscious of any debris. Also.. my mothers health is better than ever... I’ve gotten her to to become plant based this year. And many of her previous health issues (eye/liver inflammation) have practically disappeared. that reminds me, my mother had a health scare during the square the first time it hit everything turned out fine, but there was an issue with her lungs and in typical her fashion she was "dying" IP: Logged |

Glad it turned out fine. My case was similar, the scare was big at first because of a misunderstanding mainly.
Same for my aunt, it was a huge scare and then she got a second one due to the doctor not explaining things properly, but everything turned up fine.
The exception is of course my friend, I checked my friend's progressions, transits and solar return (although I don't understand much about the last one) for the day her mother died. Honestly the only thing I see is T.Saturn conjunct her Moon in 7th H (ruler of her 2nd H) and something important imo (after a personal experien) that I missed before is T.Chiron squaring her Moon (exact) at the same time.

my mother is very much what you'd expect an italian catholic mother from nyc to be, think of just about any portrayal of that kind of woman and you have a pretty clear idea of what my mother is like so it wasn't even a full misunderstanding on anyone else's part is was her going full on panic mode worst case scenario stating it like it was facts and just being herself there was an issue don't get me wrong, but it wasn't what she was saying or even remotely as big of a deal i love my mother but she's intense IP: Logged |

Saturn opposed my Gemini moon near the end of Sagittarius, and I definitely remember feeling very alone in the world. I remember I was travelling a lot, and it felt like I was trying to find something, but it was very unconscious. I felt very 'out in the world' and far from whatever home was supposed to be.Since Saturn's been passing through Capricorn, I've been back 'home' but still feeling like it's not quite right. And in the past few months it's been the inconjunct, which has really nailed down that I can both take my 'home' (moon) with me wherever I go, and that where I am now is a place, not a feeling. I'm looking forward to the Aqua transit, since it will trine my 3rd house (and Moon), but I know there's another inconjunct coming as Saturn will retrograde back into Capricorn. The harder transits of Saturn (square, parallel, conjunct) to natal Moon are opportunities for an inner inventory taking -- and people will at least subconsciously engage in that to some degree. It can be harder to find emotional gratification or satisfaction because essentially Saturn is asking us to make more effort to engage in responsibility and my infer the need to suppress some wishes or feelings that are running counter to that.How you experience it really depends on your age and mentality going into it. At age 18-19 Saturn conjunct my natal Moon was a difficult and lonely transit. At age 48-49 it still wasn't my favorite transit, but was much easier to deal with because greater maturity, a more settled life structure with a mate, etc. If a person is already struggling with not feeling loved or accepted this transit can be quite difficult. Natal Moon is the innate subjective needs, but also tendencies for wanting and wishing -- the receptive principle; transiting Saturn brings responsibility and maturity to the equation and says 'do you really need that?' and 'what are you going to do about it?' It can be a time of distancing self from family and family patterns that have taken hold in your own habits or outlook. 'Change of habits' is one of the meanings here, but we can get comfortable even in unhealthy or uncomfortable habits. ------------------

Conjunct my moon.I decided to quit smoking. And buckle down in college and actually pick a major for my associates Sextile: enjoying how far I’ve come and my first year teaching while I work on my bachelors Oppose....when was the last time it was in Taurus? I was just a kid Square: I was beginning to realize I wanted to be a normal teenager and want a boyfriend but I was so uncomfortable in my own skin, and grown ups are totally lame and embarrassing.
