I was wondering about Mars - Pluto aspects. I do not have it myself but my mom and her father (my grandfather) did.

My mom has an Aqua Mars opposite Leo Pluto by 1’.
My grandad had a Gemini Mars conjunct Pluto by 5’.

I’m wondering if the type of Mars makes a difference.

My mom isn’t an angry person but she does not hold back when she is angry and she goes from 0-100 in no time. She has an explosive reaction to when she’s mad. She’s never been like that to her family or anything. But if something sets her off about a company she doesn’t hesitate in speaking with customer service and explaining why she’s so mad. Or if she’s out in public and sees a car speeding in a neighborhood she’ll outwardly react and yell at the car. She’ll get so mad and worked up about it. But then it blows over quickly too and she’s back to having a normal conversation in 30 seconds. She gets heated over the littlest of things like when she’s driving and someone turns without putting their indicator on she says out loud to herself that they driver is an idiot. She definitely gets heated when driving.

My grandad on the other hand... he passed away when I was still a kid so I didn’t know him well. But my mom and her sisters say growing up in that house was terrible. He had a terrible temper especially after drinking. Lots of slamming doors and yelling. I’m sure the Mars - Pluto conjunct intensifies the temper.

Oh wow! I’m glad you have found a way to manage it. I think we all are prone to anger, as it is a normal emotion, but not everyone is able to figure out how to calm down before reacting.

I wonder if your 12th house Mars has something to do with being able to reflect on it first?

Pluto in Scorpio/8th House, Mars retrograde in Gemini/3rd House. I often get a bit blindsided by anger or upset. It can go from 0-100 real quick, but it really depends on whether it triggers me or not. More often I don't get angry at the right times lmao, and then sometimes at times when it would be much more helpful not to.
