Hi guys,

I wanted to know what are the different effects of the South node being at the top of a birthchart verses being at the bottom of the astrological chart.

Example South Node entering Sagittarius, show up in the 7th-12th houses?

Honestly though, I think one would entail talents related to, and comfort with things related to others, basically, the world, relationship, blah blah, and 1-6 would be more about you. Hope thats clear..

Hi Anon,

Good Morning,

I am asking from an astrological prespective that might not have been looked at before. It was a thought that crossed my mind.

Dont entice yourself by being rude, because I can and will put you in your place. Have a nice day or night whereever you are.

If you dont have nothing constructive or decent to say, then dont reply. This quarantine has got alot of people on edge , I would say Saturn and Mars conjunct is enticing arguments, but I am too intelligent for other people's stupidity.

Nevermind, my apologies.

And "Good" morning to you too, roflcopterr.

Apologies regardless.

Now about putting me in my place, we shall see, I assume... Tata *waves. ... . .

Hi Anon,

I would only put a person in there place if they are continously rude in communicating, I am a fairly nice kind person. I just find people have been purposely rude, and I got that feeling a little from your first post. If you are an overall good person, then you have my respect and kindness. NO hard feelings.

I just wanted to know if anyone has notice the effects of the south node in their charts according to the positioning of the south node being in a certain part of their chart.

About 19 years ago, the south node and north node were flipped in my chart. North node being in Sag at the top of my chart. With the South node, being in gemini, at the bottom of my chart. Now its flipped and I am just looking for understanding and any emotional and mentally affects now that it is being flipped in the signs.

Thanks for replying Aries.
🤗
Will the South Node entering Sagittarius be in your 8th house now?

How do you think it will affect you?

As opposed to 2001 to 2003 when they were flipped.

I'll second that external vs internal type of suggestion!

Not that the whole chart can't be correlated to the 'self', but I agree when it's on the lower half, it's much more internalised understanding of self and how we work with ourselves-- whereas the upper half is still ourselves, but more how we present and project into the greater world. Maybe how we present to ourselves vs other.

I only say because, woof, transit North Node is RIGHT smack on my IC (and SN transit my MC) and will be until it finally moves into Gemini next month. I've also spent the last few months having those nodes move away from a direct opposition to my own nodes. (Or maybe more than months, I don't remember when they just moved out of Leo/Aqua, but my Nodes are 1* there).

So far ... oh boy it's been getting very much to know myself. Especially my DEEPEST self (IC?) and how I treat myself, how I talk to myself, how I observe the world and project myself-- how I PROTECT myself, too. How do I deal with emotions and what do I allow myself to indulge in or restrict from (a lot in my chart makes aspects to my IC).

My guess is that because it's still in Cancer, it's very emotional and care based, heart-oriented. (I also have my moon conjunct the IC, but it's in Gemini from the 3rd). And once the nodes do move into Gemini/Sagittarius, it'll be more a case of 'how can I follow my freshly scrubbed emotional space- and trust it wholly (Sag) to keep myself busy and productive in a healthy way (Gem).

I kind of suspect overall the lockdowns are going to last a bit longer than people think, and maybe NN in Gemini will help us get a handle on keeping busy while we do. I would imagine the urge to get out and explore with SN in Sagittarius is gonna be strong though. It should be okay if NN is on the lower half of the natal sphere, though!
