First of all, I think I love your post, it’s a fun and interesting topic, thank you for that 😊
Then, I love what you said about Miyagi and Daniel, it’s so nice to see someone fall for a character dynamic that’s other than romantic, I feel the ‘shipping’ craze has done a lot of damage, especially on tv where writers can be tempted or pressured to do fan service and at least tease romances just to keep audiences tuning in. I can think of a bunch of tv shows where some characters are iconic couples and I actually prefer them in their interactions with others characters they aren’t romantically linked with, but I know nothing about the actors and they’re probably not famous enough to have birth times or even dates out there.
I remember the vampire diaries destroyed it’s only vaguely entertaining character and premise by making it all about romance when it was pathetic and I honestly think none of the actors involved had chemistry, in fact 2 actors had great chemistry (not necessarily romantic) and were kept apart in story lines, you’d wonder if the producers didn’t know that and were avoiding to show that 2 people who antagonise each other make more sense than so-called soul mates… Random: I’d like to go on record as saying my shame for watching that show is never-ending, it was the first 2 years I was homebound and I had really low self-esteem, I didn’t make it past the first seasons at least lol
I love that you underline that constantly wanting 2 actors to be together “in real life” because their characters are or they just look good together or have actual chemistry is not understanding their job, and also, to me even disrespecting. I feel that way because I dance, and it drives me crazy when some beginners make dirty jokes about contact or partners get jealous. It’s my favourite thing to do in the world and my style requires a partner, it has nothing to do with a love relationship, it’s hard work. Every season there’s a rumour on DWTS I become annoyed because I think it’s undermining and belittling the work of a dancer. It’s quite similar with actors, kissing, deeply looking in the eyes and saying ‘I love you’ are very messed up things to do with a colleague at work (even if you get along with them, in fact, I’m not sure what’s the weirdest, making out with a friend or someone you can’t stand lol), so I think they deserve credit for navigating the distance between emotion and feeling on the daily. I think actors who’ll get constantly involved with partners either fail at some part of the job or have a natural inclination to promiscuity.
That said, my favourite onscreen chemistry is David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, both Leo suns born 2 days apart on different years. I have never checked any chart for them, but you got me curious 😊. I love their chemistry because I think they can emote any rapport together. They can be family comforting, hot and flirty, mentally merging, siblings like… I never wanted to see their characters together on the X-Files and resented the show for forcing that later on (had stopped watching by then though) because I think what they have is beyond that. There is something organic between the two of them that just makes me believe what they bring to the table, whether it’s a conflict, deep love… Can’t even say I’ve ever noticed it to be that strong during interviews but I haven’t seen many either, I love artists but I’m not a fan, I’m thankful for their ability to do what they do, but I make an effort to not feel I have imaginary friends just because I fall for their work. I’m a bit exposed in my work and it feels very weird when people address me in a familiar way and they’re perfect strangers to me, I basically try to treat others as I wish I were treated 😊
I imagine I react to their chemistry because I’m a leo venus and rising…

Nope and nope lol So not a Cancer (that’s the one sign I hated for years as a teenager lol) I’m a Virgo. Sadly not a pro dancer, wasn’t in the cards for me but except for a few years of interruption due to chronic illness, I have danced most my life, it’s important for me to dance and to do it properly, I adore my teachers and Studio time 😊
It doesn’t even have to be famous related, I feel uncomfortable when people I’ve never seen before approach me speaking my name (because they’ve seen it on a board at work or something…). Once after a demo in the dance studio a bloke I had ever seen before rushed to hug me. He was adorable, nice, but he bloody hugged me!!!!! That was wrong lol
I heard stories about arms being licked and ear lobes being nibbled by fans. that **** is wrong.
I love actor interviews, I loved James Lipton’s Inside the Actor Studio show, but these days most interviews are all “so, did you pull pranks on set?” I haven’t got time for that, I pull pranks on my co-workers at work, I don’t need to descend into lowlifeness where I get my fuzzies reading stories of other people having a basic life ^^
haha, The Host made it difficult for me to approach the loo too, though I’s older than tiny lol
I think Dana Scully hasn’t met her match yet on the telly, she was such an amazing character. Gillian Anderson putting on latex gloves says power like nothing else 😊
I think when they started he was more famous, she was mostly a beginner, her casting wasn’t breezy, the producers wanted her to be much older, she had to lie about her age, she owed her presence on the show in parts to Duchovny and their chemistry and with that kind of imbalance it probably didn’t help keeping sanity between the two. The pressure on a one hour is ridiculous and it was just the two of them, no ensemble cast, just them two. But they have said since then that time helped a lot. I can relate to that, timing is important in all relationships, I’ve had co-workers I clashed with and getting to work again with them a few years later, it’s bliss.
I stopped watching about the same time as you did. Yep, there’s something comforting about Duchovny that’s difficult not to like, his film choices are also quite endearing: The tv set comes to mind, sweet little thing 😊
I’ve never watched Bones but knowing the actors I see it, I absolutely see they could be in that league. Boreanaz had an amazing chemistry with Sarah Michelle Gellar. The kisses between Buffy and Angel still make me uncomfortable because of their chemistry (and the exaggerated 90’s noises lol)
Pat Morita is like everybody’s uncle! lol
I think there’s something about the brain not being able to make a difference between reality and fiction in terms of character so if you get attached to a character, to your brain it’s the real deal, that can’t help ^^ lol It’s ok to have these relationships as long as the feelings you nurture aren’t too deep but since the actors themselves become characters to us, the brain ventures into a trickier zone there…
Yeah, sure, Sagittariuses, I’ll use it lol (English isn’t my first language so let’s make up words ) but those and Cancers those aren’t signs I have a plethora of experiences with (or not positive lol) so I wouldn’t know… I think every sign is childish in their way 😊
That’s very interesting, in that way you may say it shows synastry, two people being able to speak in unison… having sexual chemistry… but love or even deep friendship, the fact it wouldn’t go further than camera, you could argue it’s a lack of moon contacts, all pretty window but no soul, but it could also just show synastry and prove we are more than our charts, we are that and our education, nature and nurture so even with facilitated contacts if the core is not there it isn’t and that is an intricate blend of many things, of which but not exclusively astrology.
Thank you, I don’t watch that much tv for someone who likes it so much, so I really blame myself when I lose time on a bad show lol
Arms being licked, ear lobe being nibbled on!!!! fans are intrusive, fan is actually a bad word lol regular people are enthusiasts or watchers/listeners…. of something, not fans lol
I don’t know… I think you can mistakenly or righteously get attached to someone who’s on tv (whether actor, singer…) the same way it would happen with someone you actually meet. Vibes can be misleading. the weird thing with actors is you get to see them in so many different states, it’s strange to then reinstate first time boundaries when “hey, I saw the back of your balls when you were crying drunk in that field last week!”. Again, our brain is quite weak when it comes to affection, it’d follow a stranger for sweets it seems
That’s this all thing around Dirty Dancing, that they hated each other and it provided the sparks… I think it’s exaggerated. Producers can twist, editing, OMG editing can make or break performance, it’s insane, but if we’re talking one hour tv, people better get along otherwise you rapidly get tabloid covers about actors losing it or you can actually see decreasing quality.
Please, I’m a ranter, not going to judge ^^

Ha, interesting, had never thought of it that way, I don't think cancer is the only interesting moon and in my case I was 'Moon' since I was 4, so... my family are the tricksters?

Yes music, so much so it's used to cover so many poor plots and performances ^^

Ooh, what about Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas? Gemini & Libra, I love trines, I believe trined suns are some of the most powerful things ever. Unless the rest of the synastry is real pure shite I think sun trine sun can overcome so much
