Topic: Help me decide my north node profession?

After years and years of trying to find out what I should be doing with my life lol, I am really attracted to working as a crystal therapy advisor, I’m currently a scientist but also a fitness instructor part time. My northode is in Taurus in the 6th house! My sun is in Taurus and moon in Virgo (go figure!) I want to use my south node skills to ensure I can live independently financially and help others at the same time. Is crystal therapy still too much Scorpio and 12th house?? I would love your opinions and it will be me decide whether I should continue with this.  IP: Logged |

i too have a sixth house north node.. taking care of the systems/health and in your case of taurus, the earth's, or for pleasure's sake, will be your leverage of development whether you make it an exclusive profession or not. crystal therapy isnt "too much SN-scorpio" because the point of the 6th house is to *apply methods*. field-work comes to mind. 👍 which house/sign is Venus, dispositor of your NN placement, in; then Mars/Pluto? also, are there any planets aspecting your nodes?SN is gifts you’ve brought into this world, so don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. In my case, my 12H SN is Gemini, Mercury is Pisces in 10th House, squaring the nodes. [applying my] Mercury, is very important for my evolution. Chiron is in my 3rd House, also nicely aspecting the nodes—see a pattern here with the SN backdrop as predisposition? NN ruler Jupiter is in my 5H (lol because it’s NN dispositor of course I’m a bit more confused as the why and how for this, whereas Mercury is such a given.) Try checking out “evolutionary astrology” practices to consolidate your nodal impression. IP: Logged |

Yup exactly my thoughts, I tried hard to avoid the Scorpio/12th house ways but realised I need to utilise it to be helpful to others and secure myself financially! Thank you for asking, I have venus in Aries in 5th house, sun in Taurus 6th house, and mars in Gemini in 7th house (I started so many courses!!) and Pluto in Scorpio in 12th house!
Main aspects to the north node are square to Jupiter and tribe the MC by 3 degrees.
I’m so tired of trying this and that, I feel like crystal therapy, maybe using a social media platform to educate others (Jupiter in Aquarius in 3rd house) might be an idea as well! Just don’t want to go backwards if you understand what I mean, still want to be grounded and practical! IP: Logged |

What came to mind, if I can relate your planets with how I've come to understand my own NN dispositor, is that your Venus, a significant piece of the evolutionary puzzle regards Receptivity. Your natural tendency (Mars), it's very easy for you to do-act, in Gemini, scattered. This behavior paves the way for your soul development, but getting a grip on the impulse comes at the price of moving forward---a 'calling' (attention, skill) to the Venus function. Jupiter, more or less will have the same problem of impulsivity until you become aware of the implication of its square to the nodes.Interesting to see a planet not directly connected to the nodes being your 'skipped step'. (Thats the bit worth googling from Evolutionary Astrology, and they will have even more to say about Scorpio/Pluto there). Which houses, Sagittarius or Pisces, does Jupiter rule? The planet does represent 'consultation' however, I'm not convinced that you're meant to apply this outwardly like exclusively for your overall professional, rather, the "work" of your 6th NN and the job of Jupiter, something about your beliefs/faith influenced by your surroundings instigates how you will go about overcoming what's considered a 'do-over' in soul's development. I also have a Venus in Aries, so high-five about that. :P And also my NN dispositor is in the 5th for our mutual 6H purpose. From Venus in Aries we can see that as an evolutionary perspective, this placement touches on the consolidation between nodes's disposition. (Sort of like how my 12H SN Ruler Mercury is in Pisces---your SN Ruler is in the House of Venus, your NN Ruler in the sign of Mars). You're a scoprio rising yeah? I love how complex astrology can get... The traditional ruler of Scorpio, Mars, in your 7th House ruled by Venus, her dispositor in Aries. Considering how repetitive their dynamic is elaborated in your birthchart, try slicing out a portion of your research specifically on studying how Venus and Mars behave as spiritual functions, to sort of hone in on the Scorpio-Taurus vehicle, between hunting and gathering. Last but not least for 'career', and less do with day-to-day work, because I feel got a little off track about the question of "what profession" (blame my all-encompassing pisces mercury) lol---is your MC Leo? Evolutionary Astrology ... I shall look into this, I have the astrology for the soul book, which goes into details for each star sign north node, but I will look further into the evolutionary astrology!Jupiter is in my 3rd house, and ruler of 3rd house is in the 1st house, I have Uranus in the 1st house lol, my ascendent is at 29degrees
Or so! I think I dislike my scorpion side so much, and the 12th house energy of it, that I almost want nothing to do with it, it’s been painful and I can’t tell you how much I hate October November months, I’m just hoping crystal therapy takes me to a place where I can protect

I like that Jan Spiller book! Her affirmations are nice. What did she say for Taurus? I totally forgot how Taurus can also be about money, valuables. Playing with crystals make sense. Have you considered gem hunting? Taurus/Venus rules selling 'goods'IP: Logged |

Just passing by. Taurus is about sensuality. 6th house is about health. Crystal is used for healing. It is also used to download information that is stored in them by civilizations such as the Lemurians. You are not off.

Wow phoenixrising I didn’t know that about the crystals - I’m glad I’m heading towards the right direction, I might even think of selling them. What I’ve learnt is by being at home and working from home I am
Picking up my crystal healing books and learning more - so my interest is there - just need to work with it

You must be late scorpio rising, right? Anyway, with NN in Taurus in 6th house, your desire to work with crystal therapy might be due to the current transit of Uranus having entered Taurus. Uranus brings with it attraction to unusual, exciting and off the wall things. The thing about Uranus transit is that, what it brings is not necessarily stable or permanent. Once this transit is over, you might find yourself asking yourself, wtf did I do? I don't know the rest of your chart, but you should make sure you have planets in your 6th house that make lovely aspects to planets that rule your money. Or that the Uranus transit will make positive aspects to those planets. Your money planet are Jupiter (ruler of your 2nd house Sagg) and mercury (ruler of your 8th house Gemini) IP: Logged | |
