What’s would the significance of planets on the Ascendent or any of the angles in harmonic charts? My 3rd, 6th, and 9th harmonic charts all have Neptune exact on the ASC, 3/9 have oppositions to jupiter on the DC and 6th jupiter is conjunct neptune on the ASC 5th harmonic chart has my sun exact on ASC also conjunct mars but wider in orb to my sun Also what does it mean if say the descendent and midheavan are conjunct? Any other harmonic knowledge would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks so much IP: Logged |

The angles are rarely used in Harmonics ... because inaccuracies (due to not having a correct birth time) are multiplied by the harmonic chart number, thus 'magnifying' the natal chart error. However, if the birth time is known to be 100% correct ... the angles in a Harmonic Chart symbolise exactly the same things as those in the natal chart. But ... what differs is that the Harmonic Chart is focused on a specific personality trait (relating to the Harmonic aspect number), whereas the natal chart requires an interpretation of the combined effect of all the harmonic aspects involved. For example ... the 5th Harmonic Chart relates specifically to the ability to "consciously recognise patterns". So, a 5th harmonic aspect to the ascendant probably indicates that this person is seen by others/strangers has having that ability (but he/she might not be aware of it).

Think of the asc/dsc/mc/ic as being how the person is seen by strangers/intimates/colleagues/family. ... Thus, a conjunction of dsc/mc indicates that both intimates and colleagues would see the person as having the specific trait relating to the harmonic aspect.IP: Logged |

Thank you! And my birth time is accurate so all of the calculations are accurate for my angles. I’ve been having a difficult time finding a lot of interpretations on the numbers. I still find it a little confusing trying to see the chart through the number. Or what I’m looking for like where it correlates to. So far the numerology type interpretations have been what I’ve been finding so I’m curious on how you interpret the numbers. I was very curious that my Neptune was highlighted so much, as was sun/mars. IP: Logged |

The 3rd, 6th and 9th harmonic aspects are all in the 3-series family ... So they have the same core meaning of "ease" ... with 9th being ease x ease and 6th being ease x "striving"/H2. ... Thus, the 3H indicates a talent that comes so easily/naturally that we take it for granted (and thus assume everyone has it); the 6th indicates a potential talent that has to be worked on to be used effectively and the 9th is a talent/skill that we love using. The 5th harmonic indicates an ability to recognise patterns in things that others see as one-offs. David Cochrane has posted many videos on the meaning of harmonic aspects 1 to 32 ... on YouTube. IP: Logged |
