When it comes to long-term financial/career objectives, let’s say by age 33, is it true that Saturn would be more “secure”, in the 11th House, rather than the 10th? Why or why not?

It isn't negative per se when in the 10th. It's just that Saturn is not as strong in that 4th quadrant past/above Asc to MC. It's energies are better focused and more constructive in the 3rd to 4th and 7th houses -- all other things being equal. That is where its energies are most personally constructive and the native has more influence and control, promoting commitment, familial loyalty, and learning respectively.

I use to work with a girl who had a H10 Saturn...she couldn't for the life of her leave her job even though she was miserable. She was too hooked to the money even though she complained for 5 years she hated her job.

Saturn in the 10th is actually the best place for Saturn to be. Or in Capricorn.
