Today Venus moves into retrograde motion in Gemini and will remain 'moving backwards' for 6 weeks. I've written an article about how this will affect each Venus sign here:

I have no problem remembering that the needs of another can be different from my own. That's actually one thing that's holding me back. I don't really want to go into what's going on with me right now, because it isn't something that others can help me with. It's just something I need to figure out.

Another thing that's holding me back, is the past. It may not be fair to keep bringing it up, but there is a part of me that just will not move past something. I'm not going to force it, just waiting and seeing what happens.

I'm glad to hear that you are :-) Obviously general astrology will always miss the nuances of genuine readings but it brings a bit of awareness and comfort to those who do not know their charts.

So I decided that I am not wedding planning until I finish college in August. In order for me to have straight A's I have to have tunnel vision pretty much.
But that doesn't mean that HE has to wait that long. Why should I have to do everything!?

And mind you with this pandemic, I realize that if I want to get married anytime soon I might just want to elope. That is not my plan A at all though. My fiance is a typical dude who is more than happy to just elope and was exited that I even considered it. I don't want to wait forever for everything to be perfect. But I want to at least try to do that whole ceremony and reception thing.

He called me like my mom and I have been talking. And with people rescheduling their wedding for next year, we should probably just go to the court house. I totally flipped out on him. Like "it's not her wedding!" I get where his mom is coming from and I wasn't there for the conversation they had. But the fact that he is okay not even trying to have a ceremony and reception first. I lost my filter and said "you always just do whatever your family says." He really does. It's a nice quality in a guy, but I will not be a second class citizen for it. If he is fine being bossed around by his family, FINE. But I am not going to tolerate being bossed around by his family. I'm not as easy going as I let on, and have a low tolerance for being bossed/told what to do. XD And then he told me I need to get over, that he does what his family says.

And the fact that I can barely get anything out of him for what he envisions in a wedding, and suddenly now he has views and opinions, because his mom told him what to think?!

Eventually I calmed down and explained my reaction. It's more of the fact he was considering not even trying first before the court house. To me I viewed it as he "gave up" ohhh he did not like me saying that! Well to me having dreams of throwing a wedding and celebrating and going oh well I'll just do the court house, with out even bothering to even look into venue options. Is the definition of giving up to me. So that why my attack alarms went off.

And him if he is so interested and passionate and interested in our wedding all of a sudden, he could look into places in his free time! It is not only my job to do that.

A friend of mine said that nettle tea helped her hair, a lot. I had been taking the tincture, but I was afraid that it messed me up a bit hormone-wise, so I stopped. Mum used to drink a tea similar to yours - I think it was nettle, elderflower, red clover, and maybe dandelion.

I weighed myself at my sisters last week when my two year old nephew just decided to bring the scale down stairs just because, (and was very proud of himself.) I've lost 10 pounds since December! It's much easier to eat healthy now that I work at my sisters house. My sister has pretty much cut out dairy and gluten. Plus I hardly sit on my arse when I watch my nieces and nephews.

Cutting out dairy is too ambitious to me. I don't want to lose weight THAT bad. But it's cool and nice to try it out 3 days a weeks at my sister's and see the results.

I think if I ever have little kids of my own, I'll be a size two. XD

I am also learning what I can't wear if I ever have babies and little kids. Good bye white clothes and buttons.

I ordered clothes before the retrograde, and am getting the clothes in the mail here and there now.

I am also reevaluating my hair care routine. If I don't brush my hair after showering I have waves. But how do I not just brush out tangles? Brush my hair in the shower? So topsy-turvy. I am open to trying it, but do not currently own a wet brush.

I got my fiance a Banana Republic gift card for being together for five years. I'm not worried if he spends it during this time since he has Venus rx natal.

I have a theory but I am not sure. My theory is that it is okay to buy second hand during Venus rx. Because, since Venus kind of rules fashion and shopping. We are moving backwards with our vintage, retro, second hand purchases. Get it? retro fashion, retro venus?
Anyways I haven't tried it out yet, but I might give it a shot when I travel.

I was binge watching Curb your Enthusiasm on Amazon. I have come to admire the Larry David even more. The level of wealth and success he has achieved from writing Seinfeld. That he can basically get away with having horrible fashion sense and dressing like a bum. Wearing sneakers to nice restaurants and such. Wearing dark brown and black, and other color clashes in my opinion.

I am having a comically typical Venus Rx so far. I have Venus in Gemini at 17deg. A week before the Rx started, a guy who we never quite got round to meeting up with due to frankly unbelievable circumstances reappeared. He also has Venus in gemini (19deg).

We had a nice chat with good banter and left the conversation open for further catch ups throughout lockdown.

Then this week, my closest friend reappeared for the first time since the middle of March, when he vanished without saying goodbye. We're not connected via social media and with him working from home, he's been unable to contact me. I missed him a lot and worried about how he was doing, but resisted the urge to get in touch with him.

He reached out to me in a really roundabout but ingenious way and we're now talking again using creative means. He has Venus in virgo - at 19deg - so Venus Rx plus mercury is currently square his venus-mars. Oh and his NN is at 17deg gemini. There's a lot going on here.

And to get a new razor, I feel I cannot wait for the rx to be over.

Anyways I've been putting cortisone on my pits and the marks are not pink and itchy anymore. I might get into pit masks treatments to fade the spots.
