So Saturn rules my 7th. I have noticed that both times Saturn went retrograde I met a soulmate. Is there a connection with my 7th house ruler (Saturn) being connected to relationship karma since Saturn rules karma? I also have Venus in the 12th and I’ve heard that is definitely relationship karma. IP: Logged |

All people who bring unfinished business (karma) into this lifetime -- nearly everyone -- have it in relationships. So we all have relationship karma. That generally shows first with parents and siblings. The very nature of karma is that it affects others, comes from our patterning of relationship with them and we then are indebted to them so long as we have not reached unconditional acceptance (love) of them.Don't conflate karma with past life associations. You can have past life connections with someone that don't involve karma. So retrogrades are associated with going back, reconnecting, etc. That doesn't necessarily mean a karmic debt or even 'good' karma with that person. So no, having Capricorn or Aquarius over the cusp of your 7th house does not of itself indicate relationship karma. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification The birth chart is a starting place not a pre-determiner of fate. I have a similar setup to you - Aqua rules 7th house with Uranus and co ruler Saturn both in Capricorn and both Retrograde. Venus is just in the 12th house conjunct ascendant/south node with descendant conjunct north node. 5th house ruler is Jupiter in 12th house also. My romantic relationships and actually relationships in general (At work too) feel very karmic. IP: Logged |

This is interesting - thank you. I have been told I have a lot of relationship karma to clear in this life. Would it be my Venus in the 12th then? What aspects show “karma” that needs to be cleared with someone vs. just checking past life involvement, Saturn? Pluto? I also have Venus trine Pluto. IP: Logged |

I can't answer for how other astrologers see things. You'd have to ask the person who told you that. Venus trine Pluto indicates strength and depth of values and depth in relationships. Of course, Venus in the 12th can generally indicate themes of endings in relational dynamics, and opposite Neptune in the 6th does emphasize it more with alignment to charitable service as your resolution for it. Moon in 12th gives even more emphasis to the need to serve and discover how your needs merge with those of others. Personally, I'd take it with a grain of salt that you've got "a lot" of relational karma. But if you are given opportunities to do something significant to help someone else along that does not benefit you, do it. The only lesson is love and that is the only thing that releases the karmic burden. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification The birth chart is a starting place not a pre-determiner of fate.
