I have a client with Southnode in Taurus and Northnode in Scorpio, his southnode ruler VENUS is conjuncting his Northnode Ruler PLUTO in Libra. He has a lot of pain/wounds related to committed relationships. His wife was unfaithful on and off for years because she was bi-sexual and wouldn't come out and never told him she was bi to give him that option of deciding whether to move forward with the relationship or not and at least move forward with open eyes.
They are now in an open marriage and navigating this.
I feel outgrowing his southnode has been challenging, but this past two years he has been at a turning point and finally taking off his blinders and delving into the dark side, letting himself see the shadow side of the world, his wife and his marriage that I feel he refused to let himself see for so long bc Taurus in SN with Venus in LIBRA who is accommodating and avoids conflict and wants to see only the pretty side of life was not letting PLUTO in (the ruler of this northnode), tbf I feel he also played a role in all this bc I feel he didn't want to see the truth. He now has his eyes open so he has made progress into integrating his Northnode but he is still stuck on not asserting his needs and with patterns of avoiding conflict and been too accommodating, he still has NOT found and embraced his power that is at the other side of his Southnode waiting for him to reach out for it and TAKE IT. Yet slowly I see progress with there been a more balance of power in the relationship but is slow progress.
I am bringing up this topic because I would think that someone with SN ruler conjunct NN ruler would have their nodal axis very balanced but the sense I get is that the SN ruler on the NN ruler is holding the NN ruler back so it may actually result in delays in the person fully developing their northnode.
Has this been your experience?
