Due to the Covid Lockdown, I've already made a lot of realizations about my life, and am currently in the midst of making lifestyle changes. Interestingly, my Progressed Mercury is at 0 right now.

My own first experience with this came in 1994 when my prog Sun was nearing the end of Taurus. As a result of a dental surgery that July 1st to remove all four wisdom teeth (two impacted), my health changed. I wasn't able to work for many weeks. (Prog Sun 29TAU35). I had insomnia and anxiety. When I finally got back to work (inventory auditing) my productivity fell by 1/3. I could not bring it back up. I was fired the following February. That began a new phase of health investigation and wide reading on all kinds of topics, much in keeping with Sun progressing into Gemini.

Not everyone will experience as marked a shift. My case was partly because I've got natal planets Neptune at 0SAG09, Venus at 20N17 declination and Jupiter at 0SCO26, which were all aspected by prog Sun in 1995 (opposition, parallel, quincunx respectively). So there was a more pronounced experience of changing motivations, new interests, etc on the back half of this after prog Sun entered Gemini.

So it isn't always attributable to just sign change. Look at what aspects the Sun makes, especially within about 0°20' arc, and especially when within 05'.

Afterwhich when the transition of the energy was in Aqua 0 deg. I felt like i was no longer interested in what drove me.

I feel like its contextually sensitive energy.Like looking for a date for prom night.

Its all very pressured and it is all you think about (29Deg). Then the day of prom comes (date or not) then passes.

After its gone,you wonder why you put yourself under so much pressure? It's like your priorities/attention shifts to something else. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Yeah. Mine progressed after birth. I lived my childhood like a Cap i.e very focused on achievement

My 30's are being lived like an Aquarian.🤷🏿‍♂️ I am more involved in social issues now.

Don't get me wrong.Your birth Sun Sign is still what it was.But its like priorities shift. Don't quite know how to explain it succinctly.

That Sun progressed through the anaretic degree from age 16 months to age 28 months ... and, when I was 22 months old, my (first) younger sibling was born - replacing me as the baby of the family.

Reading about the influence of a child's position in the sibling hierarchy explains how the progressed Sun's passage through the anaretic degree changed my life. ... In essence though, I had to "grow up quickly".

When my first younger sibling/sister was born, my progressed Sun was at 29Scorpio26 (in natal 3rd house).

29 years and 8 months later, progressed Sun arrived at 29Sag26 (cusp of natal 4th house) ... on the day that I terminated my 12+ years employment as a UK Public Sector Accountant, to join the UK branch of a large (international) firm of private sector accountants.

I returned to the public sector some 3.5 years later, in a role which would have taken me at least 10 years to obtain if I had never left. ... So, the progression of my Sun through the anaretic degree had (again) resulted in me having to "grow up quickly".
