My favorite Moon sign.. It seems to me like one of the rarest Moon signs unlike Aries, Gemini, Sag.

I never felt like a real Cancer Moon... Listening to music, daydreaming, having a lot of fantasies, creating, writing, walking, playing with my dogs, being on the Internet, eating something that I really like while I'm in my pajamas and watching a video or movie or television show. And more. I feel like most of those are more Pisces and Aquarius Moon, not Cancer Moon. Moon in Cancer 3rd house. I feel more like a Pisces Moon than a Cancer Moon. Well I am a Pisces. And I have Moon opposite Neptune/Uranus. I don't feel very good when I have to take care of a person or an animal. Cancer Moon is supposed to feel good about taking care of others and that doesn't happen to me. Many times I feel stressed just because of it. IP: Logged |

Was going to ask you if your Moon is making hard aspect to Neptune (because most of what you said are Neptunian triats) and maybe Uranus (just because you said you feel more like an Aqua Moon and because you don't feel good taking care of others which I believe it is because you don't like others depending on you). Aspects and house placements are stronger than planets in signs. I absolutely relate to my Moon sign (Pisces) because it's almost aspectless. I don't relate to my other personal planets' signs because they make hard aspects to outer planets. IP: Logged |

I love your Moon! I know some people don't like it but I love it. Yes, also, I was never a person who is very close to their family members(family was never very important to me), but I was very close to my mum, we were like best friends and she was the person who knew me the most and I remember that I asked if I was like this (like Cancer Moon), she said no, and at that time I only read to her about Leo Moon and she told me that I have more in common with Leo Moon than with Cancer Moon. My mum was a Cancer Sun/Ascendant and you could really tell that she was a double Cancer! So sometimes I thought that my Moon says more about my mum's personality or our relationship than something about me but I feel very connected to Pisces Moon and a little bit to Aquarius Moon. Reading a good book, watching a movie or TV Series that was really well thought out, and then discussing it with my girls. I love precise attention to detail, a well-organized bedroom, and beautiful, smart, practical design. I find the meeting of beauty and function to be the most pleasing Most of all though, I adore seeing other people happy and being involved in their happiness. When we’re all laughing together, and having a good time. No negative vibes or conversations, just happy-go-lucky fun times. What about you?! What’s sign is your Moon in? ----------------- Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC.
Interesting. I have a 5H Sag moon (part of a stellium that is sextile to a 3H Libra sun and stellium). I love travel, but not luxury resorts. I prefer to mix with the real people (that is, get a taste for what the area is like for the locals and how they see the world) and avoid the tourist spots. I'm very much into hikes and camping. For example, when I finally visit Scotland, the one thing I want to do above all else is walk the Rob Roy Way and especially look to where the highlands meet the lowlands. I do enjoy talking about "meta theory" and trying to figure out enigmatic human nature (that includes the popularity of some conspiracy theories, but I rarely take them that seriously) as well as things as like what those from other worlds and with different biologies would be like (and how life might be very different on a planet within a star cluster, and what the sky there would look like), especially in ways that would not naturally occur to people (no "humans in funny suits" like Star Wars and Star Trek), alternative tech tracks and communications and the like. I can also enjoy talking of much more trivial things like what a movie or show may have implied, what inspired it (consciously and subconsciously), and "filling in the plot holes" with head canon. I also enjoy writing, but have to be careful of the introspective aspects, especially as I leap from one point of view to a different point of view which can be confusing and even frustrating to some people (especially if leaping to a villain who thinks of himself or herself as a hero and the heroes as the villains). I do like some attention to detail, and yet some might not notice the details and think my room is chaotic. But it all has meaning, and a lot of times was planned beforehand rather than throwing it together haphazardly. Back when I thought humanity was innately good, I did believe that sharing was a big reason for it. Something funny is much funnier when shared with others, for example, or even make something funny when it otherwise wouldn't be. But likewise, the pain was to be shared because as happiness increased with sharing, sadness and grief could be lessened by the same. I no longer believe this to be the case of the general population, though it's sometimes true (and it's typically true of me). I have enjoyed entertaining kids (one of my side jobs, though I haven't been called in months). I don't think kids are little angels, far from it, but I do have a lot more patience for their foibles than adults, and I also feel I get a more honest peek at human nature that is unfiltered, both the good and the bad, then I'll normally see from adults. I do like making the energy positive, though, whether it's a birthday party or a Halloween party (which I've volunteered for free at times). When I was younger I was really into practical jokes and playing with people's minds. I joined such a group that saw itself as culture jamming as well as pranksters called the CFR (Conspiracies For Rent). Good times, but I typically repress that part of me now, and I don't have the energy I once did when I was younger. But I still appreciate the memories of some of our wilder pranks. Though some of the most awesome and peaceful moments have been in nature. For example, one time while sick I was dragged to try windsurfing for the first time (different from surfing and skateboarding, both of which I'm experienced at) and though it was rough and I was there grudgingly, the wind suddenly whooshed me away over the waves, and as if that wasn't enough, the sun then broke through the clouds (though morning mist remained in the wooded hills) to turn the grey ocean into a beautiful sparkling blue, and I actually screamed in ecstasy.
Another time I was hiking and loved how the cloud layers turned the sun a beautiful red...and then the wind started, causing the flowers and the trees to sway around me, making me think of like waves in the water, and the wind tickled my hair and neck as well. I spread my arms and just exulted in being alive. IP: Logged |

I always wondered if my moon conjuncts your moon as I think very much the same. My birthday just past and my dad said he would get the check engine light in my car looked at. Turns out all he did was do a simple oil change. Of course I'm furious because I could have just did that all myself. You just can't rely on people to do anything anymore. 4th house. I think how I was raised affected me so much. Funny that I am not really into competition or competitive games, but I can give that impression to people, prob because of my serious demeanour or my highly independence. quote: Originally posted by DualGemV2: I always wondered if my moon conjuncts your moon as I think very much the same.My birthday just past and my dad said he would get the check engine light in my car looked at. My moon is in 3rd decan, 20-22. Isn't your moon in 1st decan? Since I was a kid, my Dad told me I was a quick learner, and yes, I like to learn anything so I can do it by myself because I can be a little bit impatient and want the best result, waiting for someone to do it can make me look super demanding and I don't want to be that person. Or where no body has irrational overreaction, like, can't you just collect the right true information first then react? Living around those people really makes my life like a hell. I also do not really like noisy people or places, so some quiet places make my moon happy and at peace. Yes, I was single for a long time and now I think it was the best moments. I love looking at the clouds/sky in the night, looking at the moon or just a light from buildings at night. It never fails, it's like taking a deep breath then release all the bad feelings. Night driving is also the most peaceful moment for me or just hanging out at somewhere having a deep talk with someone until early morning. Ah, that moment, but then he fell in love with me and we just couldn't anymore. I used to have insomnia but I love it because night hours to early morning is my favorite time. Learning about myself and then find the things that make me more understanding of me and people are what my Moon feels satisfied and happy. I tend to talk to myself and questioned a lot with my own self, like, it's weird, but I feel like I have two people within me that I fall in love with and have conversation with a lot. I also feel very happy when helping people in needs as I can. I usually always see what's under me than what's above me. Stalker, or people who try to copy myself, like they try to find and change or hide their real by being someone else who they think much more cool than their real self, will definitely people who I avoid around me because it's disturbing and scary. I see them having some psychological problem because I learn some human behavioral/psychology too. An original strong healthy identity individuals keep me at peace.

Me, too! I have a Cancer moon and I don't feel good when I have to take care of someone. It feels like a burden and it feels restrictive. Especially small children who can't communicate yet, because it's such a responsibility. I crave being alone and need a lot of space and time to be creative. IP: Logged |

It took me by surprise when knowing this fact too looking at two people: my brother in law and my mother in law. My brother in law (Virgo Sun, Scorpio Mars) whenever his little kids around him, he doesn't even watch them until one of them falling or crying because of something then he look at them and a little bit grumpy. For the most part, I see my sister is taking full care of their kids although both of them working. He only wants to help if my sister tells him what to do but at the same time he doesn't like someone being bossy to him. He also feels burdened if he needs to help other people with their life more than twice. He just wants to be left alone and working. That's why my sister takes fully responsible on their domestic life although she is working too, no surprise she is a Taurus who almost angry all the time lol. My mother in law (Scorpio sun/venus, Virgo mars) , well, looking at how my husband, I can 100% sure he is growing up by himself. He doesn't even get educated as a child from either both of his parents, the opposite of my childhood where my Mom and Dad taught me this and that so we could stand on our own feet in the future (growing up we have rich information because of the consistent educated communication at home between parents and kids), while his Mom prefer her kids do not know a lot of things to keep them close/depends on her but at the same time she hates when she needs to take care of their problem (so she responds with anger most of the time), I remember he said to me, "my Mom always said to me since I was a kid that we (her kids) should never bring any problem at home, never, like, if we have a problem outside of the home, we should take care of it by ourselves". The result is, I also heard some story from his school friends, he is a troublemaker outside of the home and coming back at home like a good boy, Mama only knows he is a good innocent boy while his friends and other women he messes up with know all too well he is not that good and innocent. Another fact I know, it's because her anger is furious and he has this "afraid child" trapped inside. One of the affect of that, he grows emotional distance to kids. But also I know one Cancer moon who is a really sweet and a softy guy (Aries sun, Cap mars, Tau venus). A close college friend until we graduated. I thought we were a really good friend until he confessed the feeling when I had no thought to build any relationship at the time because I had some goals ahead and I wasn't ready to give my attention/split my focus to a relationship. Easily crying, anything emotional will make him cry, including when he confessed his feelings. I see he likes kiddos, but I don't know if he likes the idea of taking care of them. He loves cooking and more in touch to his feminine side and domestic life. That is why in our friendship, it was like I was the man and he was the woman. Sometimes we joked about it. For me, I like kiddos and do not have any problem taking care of them. Looking at the eyes of little kids is like looking at my inner child. And my daughter also has Moon in Cancer and I hope I can give her a healthy doses of mother daughter relationship so she can grow up with her best feature of the moon. IP: Logged |
