I know that men often express love and affection through acts of service or physical touch. Of course not always!
Also if anyone knows about the theory about the 5 love languages, I’m thinking a bit about that.
There there are words of affirmation, physical touch, acts of service, giving gifts and spending time.
But I’m just mentioning that as I don’t mean to make a discussion about that.However I’m wondering what in a guy’s chart show how he express affection. The Venus would probably be a factor, but maybe less so since it’s a guy.
Maybe the Sun/Mats sign becomes more important here as expression? And their aspects etc. For the men here, in what ways do you show affection and do you think it correlates to your chart? My boyfriend is Virgo with Mars and Venus is Libra, but he isn’t big on words. Is touch and acts of service that are his thing. IP: Logged |

I have a theory some signs can overpower the others. Like if someone has prominent Fire or Saturn, it can take over air signs, or it depends on how well-aspected they are.
Saturnian Mars and Fire moon - Pisces and Aquarius get overpowered. Love shows in action and service.
Fire Mars and Venus - forget about Libra. Everything will be set on fire eventually
Virgo would overpower Libra. Prominent Scorpio will show itself wherever it is.
Scorpio Venus - love to hate, try to poison or kill you as part of love expression.

He is acts of service, venus rules his 6th house and falls in the 4th house, he is the cook too in our relationship.My ex was sex and gifts, his venus rules his 2H and conjuncts Pluto. I am too sex/physical touch, venus rules my 5th house and conjuncts mars in the 8th house.

My BF is a Gem Sun with a Taurus Venus in 12H. His #1 is physical touch and his #2 is words of affirmation. He definitely shows affection through physical touch but words like "thank you" or "love you" is equally as important for him to hear.IP: Logged |

This is well timed! I was discussing this with a good male friend the other day - he'd written something and I said hey is your love language acts of service and he did the quiz and I was right.He has Venus conjunct mars in virgo, in the ninth house. He really believes in the process of improvement through hard work so acts of service is not a massive surprise. IP: Logged |

In a more general sense, I think love received should be indicated by Venus, and moon. And maybe cusp of the 6th house.I say this because the 6th house is about caring, right? I have cancer on the cusp of the 6th and my love language is touch, with words and quality time second. I have Venus in the 4th house in Gemini so you'd assume I'd be words first. But, I'd take a hug over an I love you any day. My friend mentioned above has Taurus on the cusp of the 6th. Taureans are generous givers, not just if gifts, but also time and energy.
