I heard patience mainly stems from Saturn, but I don't think it could be the end-all-be-all factor. Admittedly though, my Leo Mercury’s only aspect, is a 5 degree trine to my 11th House Saturn, and I have never ending patience I can wait for almost anything for weeks, months, and years. Without much trouble

Cancer Rising
2nd House Leo Sun
3rd House Leo Mercury
6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto
1st House Cancer Venus & Mars
9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC.

Fixed sign placements like Taurus & Scorpio can help, especially for Sun, Mars, Moon (Taurus).

Moon trine/sextile Saturn -- or the conjunction. Although, the closer conjunctions tend to urge more restraint and repression than patience.

Taurus is the tortoise of the zodiac, but tends to be a bit more passive in their patience than most other types. So it is important to have persistence of action than that kind of patience.

Mars in 12th house, I guess?

I have this placement, along with Moon sextile Saturn. One time my little sister told me, "people should not push you to the edge." "Why?" I asked while having my lunch. "I have never seen your anger until yesterday, and it was so scary that I still can't forget it." I was chocking on my food while trying not to laugh. She said, "no, I'm serious, people shouldn't really push you or they will be in nightmare remembering your every words although it happens once for a lifetime." I was laughing so hard and she kept saying, "I'm serious, why are you laughing?"

Thinking about it, I was waiting for 3 years until I was in the peak of my patience being in the middle of the mind games of my husband and his ex who wanted him to marry her instead while he was confused between the choice. It ended up they really cut each other, probably realizing that they should not mess up with me although I actually had warned them and told them to stay with their relationship and never came back into my life on and off like an immature people because I wanted a peace.

I actually one of the most chill person in the room, on a daily basis I rarely angry because I don't like it, I usually communicate things if I don't like it, but, yes, I also have a limit of my patience and you will never imagine how my anger look like.

Definitely Mars in Taurus. They are about as patient as they come.

To me the question is, patience in which area?

Patience in the area of work/career would come from Saturn, and to some extent Pluto. Both planets are comfortable with waiting things out while working behind the scene or on menial tasks. Both planets are able to keep their eyes on the prize.

Patience in the area of love and relationship is more a factor of Neptune and Jupiter. Some would say Saturn, but Saturn would bring more of a Ball and chain aspect, as in people staying in a relationship that has long past its expiration date due to duty, fear, or financial concerns.

Jupiter and Neptune provide the emotional glue that help one be patient toward the perceived flaws of the loved ones. Especially Neptunian energy will put up with substance abuse, emotional abuse and betrayals, excusing them while hoping for the best.

Patience when driving: Probably Mars enjoying good aspects from Saturn.

I know people who have severely autistic children, and they have to be very patients as caretakers in a lifelong commitment. What planetary influence would give someone that kind of patience toward a special needs offspring? I say a combo of Saturn (sense of duty), Jupiter and Neptune in the synastry chart of the natives involved.

I would say Saturn, given the relation to “time”.

I'm going with mercury here. I think your mind and the way it works is where patience comes from. Probably Saturn too but really, Merc.

My sun and venus are in taurus 12H, Saturn and Mars in scorpio 6H and I have zero patience. My mercury is in Aries 12H and my mind is always go go go. I like to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible and I really really don't like it when others slow me down or aren't as efficient as I am, especially at work. I will say the 12H Taurus factor does help to keep me from just going off on people lol. But it doesn't help ease my impatient mind. It actually seems like the older I get, the less patience I have.

Saturn is the principle of trying to teach patience, but that doesn't mean that people with powerful/highlighted Saturns are patient.

Actually, Cayce's guidance indicates that primary/predominant Saturnians are rather impatient types often. His guidance specifically notes a strong materialistic tendency towards a "grass is greener" on the other side pattern.

Meaning, they don't stick with things, but go off to chase the next best thing, whether homes, marriage partners, jobs, or what not. A decided lack of consistency and follow through.

For people who are not primary/predominant Saturnians, Saturn in the more universal sense, again is the principle or force that is trying to teach us patience via testing, challenge, etc.

I'll give an example of this: A friend of ours has Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in Capricorn in the 7th. Saturn and Uranus are closest to the Desc. Her off again, on again, off again, on again partner, who happens to be both a Capricorn Sun and have a strong Saturn independently, is and has been a rather inconsistent person for much of his life. Until he met our friend, he was a player sleeping around with a bunch of people--basically only did casual sex.

Job wise similar until somewhat recently. He's alcoholic and a bit narcissistic. And as mentioned, they are off and on again constantly it seems. He's just not a strongly consistent person, despite being a Capricorn Sun. Astrologically it relates more to having strong Saturn, Virgo Rising, and Cancer Moon.

He's not a bad or negative guy, but he follows the Saturn pattern that Cayce outlined of having a strong materialistic orientation of the grass is ever greener on the other side, and being rather self centered. Despite that we are both Capricorn Suns, and we both have strong Virgo, we couldn't be more different in a lot of ways, and astrologically part of that relates to him having strong Saturn and I have a relatively weak Saturn.

Cayce's guidance often linked strong Jupiter with a tendency towards being patient and tolerant with others and life in general--often because there was a strong spiritual core, perspective, and outlook. Like they have an inner optimism and faith in how the Universe works for our best interest, and can "let go and let God".

In many ways, opposite of the strong materialism of those with strong Saturn (again, when I say strong Saturn or strong Jupiter, I don't mean the Signs, but the Planets themselves and most in relation to the Angles and Angle rulers, especially Asc/1st and Chart ruler).

I find that sometimes people with strong Capricorn, Taurus, and/or Aquarius, if they are older Souls (and their predominant Planet(s) are Neptune, Jupiter, and/or Sun) tend to be more patient than the average.

Taurus in and of itself, is not so much patient as so fixed and slow moving, as to appear patient at times, but not in the true meaning of the word. When things are not going their way, they can complain a lot if they are not older Soul types. A tendency towards passivity and inertia, is not the same thing as active patience. Active patience is a spiritual orientation and not a particularly strong and common one among humans to date.

I also think that it depends on the situation. Plus synastry, if it’s in a relationship. Venus transits usually make me more patient, because I feel good. I think whatever makes us happier, can help. Although I used to be really patient, even when I was anxious, so who knows? I have Mars in Pisces. Venus sextile Jupiter. Moon conjunct Venus.
