I believe that the issue here is with police continuously using excessive force.. I have even seen my 90 lb white friend get tackled by a male cop and her face bashed into the cop car when we were just 18! cops have always been notorious for abusing their power... just now there are phones so they can't get away with it!

that being said, my feeling is that if race played into this at all, it was only bc the officer believed bc George Floyd was black that he was stronger and that made him feel he had to use excessive force to be able to restrain him. I also believe that because there was such a scene that he was focusing more on the cameras and commotion and not realizing that Floyd was actually dying.

I will also add, that I know Floyd was screaming "I can't breathe", but if you watch live PD or any show you will know that people say stuff like this ALL THE TIME when they are getting arrested so I think cops become sort of numb to it. People will say anything to get released get away and it's very common for people to be saying "I AM DYING" and I think cops learn to just think they are faking.

It varies precint to precint but some have a very toxic environment, which can be exacerbated by zealous police unions (along with the blue wall of silence ) and even police training that is more designed to make one a psychopath than a keeper of the peace. If he was in such a precint, immersed within it, then he simply may not have cared or even considered what others would think. Lots of people mistake their little bubbles of fringe beliefs as mainstream when they're not (and it's not unknown for cops to post racist and other obnoxious pix on their PD Facebook page, apparently clueless to how it would come off, or perhaps all too aware but feeling too powerful as they do).

I think it's an oversimplification.

This particular incident of police brutality is different in that it involves not just 1 officer seen for 7 minutes kneeling on a man's neck (which is problematic in itself, as you don't need to have an anatomy/biology degree to know that this could be fatal), but all the others officers who stood around watching him doing that, and not one of them stopped it. Where they afraid of Chauvin? Where they also wholly ignorant of human anatomy?

The incident highlighted an unfortunate mentality among the police force that disregards a certain type of human life.

Add to that:
1) the restlessness created by months of forced lockdown with most people itching to get the hell out under any pretext -see how quickly concerns about COVID fell by the wayside, lol-
2) the sheer mass of millions of currently unemployed or underemployed idle people and students, with lots of free time on their hands
3) no venue where people can go and blow off steam. All those outlets are closed: sports arenas, gyms, beaches bars, youth centers, clubs, neighborhood ball courts, park BBQ, fairs, festivals, etc...

With a Pisces stellium, if Chauvin is not expressing it in terms of compassion, psychic abilities, or spiritual pursuit, he will express it in its lower form, so I suspect Chauvin might have a substance abuse problem. He could have been high at the time of the incident.

But globally, this particular entrance of Mars in Pisces and the eventual conjunction of Mars with transit Neptune (happening as we speak) ushered in the Defund the Police movement. This is a definite Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces moment. Mars with Neptune wants to create a new idealistic way of maintaining law and order.
