How does you Jupiter play out the house is in?Mine is in 1st house and it seems like I have luck when I express myself, but I can't really feel it because Jupiter is opposite Saturn. IP: Logged |

Jupiter gives luck and expansion to whatever it touches. It's not only an area where you're lucky but an area you can overdo or go to extremes in, focusing on it too much.In Placidus system, my Jupiter falls in my third house of communication and siblings/neighbors. My job is in communications (and other parts of my chart lead to this too). However, communication with my siblings and local community has mostly been fraught (and I have no really hard aspects to my Jupiter). Only for one brief period of my youth did I have friends in my neighborhood. Still, I have been singled out as being gifted in English, writing, etc. and did well in early education (which is also related to 3rd house). I have a lot of insecurity around the way I communicate and have been working to stop gossiping, etc. At points of my life I have taken a vow of silence. However in Equal House system (which I generally feel is more true for me), Jupiter falls in my 2nd house of possessions. I was adopted at birth and taken from a poor family into a wealthier one, which is extremely lucky if you ask me. I have always been possessive (but worked on that! Being a Taurus doesn't help ) and good at earning and saving. I think it holds for self-possession as well (though with a moon in Aries how can I not be self-possessed? ), and values/morals have always been a central part of my thoughts. So I identify more with the equal house placement, though I can see how Placidus is true also - it just seems a little more complicated. But it's also not so straightforward as all that, since other factors have to be considered. Looking at people I know: I see my father's Jupiter falls in his 11th house, and he has always attracted a lot of friends and allies in spite of his very reserved nature. (Disclaimer: almost all his personal planets are in Libra, but he is by no means outgoing. People have to come to him - and they do!) My partner also has his Jupiter in the 11th house and was very personally popular when he was younger. In more recent years he has tended to push people away despite the fact that they still like him! He has definitely attracted a lot of luck through friends and acquaintances. His professional success in the past came through networking. Another person close to me has his Jupiter in the 9th house and he has worked as a professor and found good fortune abroad from his native country. He is gifted in philosophy. IP: Logged |

Because I don't know for sure the minute I was born and my mother keeps on saying different times, I had Jupiter at the end of 1st house cusp and it feels a bit like I'm lucky with money. But it squares venus and, even if I have venus and moon in taurus, I had moments when I went beyond my incomes. I have Jupiter in 3rd house in composite with a few friends and is really nice because we come together mentally and is very easy to communicate. IP: Logged |

My natal Capricorn Jupiter is on IC, intercepted in 4th house and opposite Uranus in Gemini/9th (on MC, but not intercepted).I am now 71 years old, and this configuration manifested throughout my life as a conflict between rebelling and conforming. ... Hence, I was perceived by colleagues in the workplace as a rebel and by my family as a pillar of the community. IP: Logged |

I've Jupiter in 11H. I make friends and receive help everywhere I go even though I never actively seek help from others. Throughout my life I've been led towards certain paths through the people I met and it all played out like it was meant to be. However, my Jupiter is in Aries square Saturn opposite Pluto. In every 10 friends I make, there'll be one sh*t head who will backstab me for reasons unknown to me. But I always came out ok. The only thing that really sucks is my love life and I look to Jupiter as it rules my 7H. I don't know what is it with my 7R that makes my love life so hard. From my vedic chart, it seems the culprit is my Rahu in 7H. IP: Logged |

That's interesting. I have Neptune and Uranus conjunct Descendant. I don't feel like I have strange partners. What I see in them might be foggy. I don't know. IP: Logged |

Mine is in my 5th-H in Sag but it's retrograde...and I don't really understand its energies at all...It's there with Nep and Uranus too. Also retrograde. A potentially fun combo of Jup/Nep/Ura in the 5-H seems really promising (since the 5-H is supposed to be about creativity/fun/romance and children) but the energies feel blocked to me. Maybe it's the retrogrades? B/c I feel like I value those 5H things very much but I have trouble tapping into those vibrations. Like, I really love children but I'm super awkward around them. And I love all things creative and want to work in the arts but find myself restricted somehow... IP: Logged |

My Jupiter is retrograde too, maybe that's the reason I can't quite get into it? And I don't know how it plays out? I really understand how you feel about your 5H. My 5H is occupied by Pluto in Scorpio and I feel the same, but with some obsession. Good thing that I don't have hard aspects with Pluto. IP: Logged |

Mine is in the 12th house, in Cancer. I read it acts as a guardian angel here. It also conjuncts my Venus and my Ascendant. People say I'm pretty, but I don't consider myself in that way, probably because of the 12th house hidden issues...?IP: Logged |

My Jupiter is in the sixth house conjunct Venus and I have been interested in health from a young age although I feel this conjunction has led me to overeat yet gives me a heightened awareness that it’s not healthy. Jupiter has had to learn moderation! I also was a long distance runner as a young teen. I was influenced by my mom and I believe Jupiter brings blessings in the natal house and the discipline of exercise at a young age gave me incredibly strong vitality. Although I did end up having a back issue many years later when Uranus transited my sixth house and I carried a tree that I really was incapable of lifting. Uranus also happened to be squaring my natal Mars. Unfortunately Jupiter doesn’t make that house invincible from tragedy but seems to add to where we are inspired to learn and grow (:IP: Logged |

The oddest thing happened, I changed the wheel from placidus to whole house system. I hadn't thought to really look at how it might change my Jupiter, it is in the 12th. I read a couple samples of description on that placement. It fits! IP: Logged |

Taurus Jupiter 9H conjunct SN, MC, Chiron opposite Scorpio Uranus and Sag rxNeptune. Also makes an exact contra-parellel aspect to my Cap Moon. I think Jupiter has helped me many times but he has also caused my own "undoing". I have swung the tree of great extremes in terms of partying/drinking/drugging/excercising/driving car/working and I have battled severe cases of black/white thinking. All or nothing and it's mostly been "all"...When I do something I do it reeeeeeeal good :-/ IP: Logged |

I have Saturn opposite Jupiter too and it is a close one - 1 degree. Everytime I get excited and feel good and confident I go to the opposite and I feel like there's a lot more to learn and practice. Does this happen to you too?

How does Jupiter work when it is retrograde? I also have it in House 11...I definitely see the benefits of networking, and in those situations, I am pretty liked. I'm sure my Libra Moon and Venus help there too.IP: Logged |

I don't know. I have mine retrograde too and it's in the 1st house. Maybe that's why I can't feel it. Everyone has a concrete way in which it shows, but I can't say that I see mine playing out. IP: Logged |

Every time. Or something happens and spoils everything. it fells like when I am ready to "expand" something ALWAYS puts a cold blanket over it. I am sooooo tired of it. lol When I was much much younger I got frustrated a lot. Well Now I am not (well not as much) .learn my lesson. having said that, I think my main planet is Saturn. and I get influenced by saturn a lot. I am AQUA Sun, venus and my saturn is in 5th house. I am disciplined (well compare to some of my friends ) and serious (do not like it), and quite sarcastic . Saturn always put something "bitter" in a pot of honey , if you willIP: Logged |

Probably is a good thing for me because sometimes I take impulsive decisions or say things that I should be thinking about before speaking them. IP: Logged |

Jupiter in 9h, and I enjoy learning a lot. I had picked wide variety of classes in college (music course to golf course) and had a lot of freedom that you don't get in high/middle school. Also you have the choice to not show up. I think having Saturn square put it in moderation otherwise it would take me a while to graduate.IP: Logged |

@Still_Hopeful, Do you feel your chart fits better with whole house? How about your Jupiter? I think it fits better for me. I always used the other because I'm an intercept person and my houses really are a bit hybrid. Jupiter is why I'm an inner type person, I could easily be a Monk-tress! lolIP: Logged |
