Has anyone used https://astro-charts.com/ ? They seem to be relatively new but I like how some of their free options - like listing out parallels and chart patterns for you. Except their calculations are quite off from Astrodienst's, which I've been using for a long time. I don't know what methods they employ but I just find it weird. For example, Astrodienst has my Asc in 6˚Leo but Astro-charts.com puts it at 3˚ Virgo...what?! Have any of you used them before? Thoughts? IP: Logged |

Everything for me is exactly the same on both sites except my true node was 1/2 degree less. Maybe your location was put in different or double check the time.IP: Logged |

The charts aren't very readable and don't come with columns of planet positions or an aspectarian. They also aren't good at accurately noting aspect patterns due to over-expanded orbs, counting configurations with asteroids, etc. This sends novices and newbies into the online forums on wild goose chases over non-existent configurations and misconstrued chart factors. I can't tell you how much time I've spent trying to clarify confusion and misconceptions created by this site. But it looks nice, which gets them attention. It's one of the more problematic sites online, so I don't recommend it. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification The birth chart is a starting place not a pre-determiner of fate. Which ones do you recommend other than Astro.com? IP: Logged |
