I am always unsure about the moon cycle - which to follow; full moon, new moon, eclipse etc etc. I just decided on new moons - which is someone clear. I know where the new moon falls into (house) those issues are what will surface but when it hits an astroid?

Aug 18th: The Leo New moon @26Degrees will conjunct my natal CERES within 1 degree.

Any help?
