Hey everyone I'm wondering if there are any rules to follow when figuring out which transits will be strongest at any given time. For instance if you are ruled by the moon does that mean any transits to your moon will overrule the other transits occurring. How can I tell which transits will be strongest in general, which special rules cancel other aspects out?

No transits are ever cancelled out.

This is individual as to what is felt most strongly. You described one scenario in which if Moon is strong natally the transits to it would be felt perhaps more strongly.

I do think that if you've developed a particular planetary energy well enough in your soul development that it is pretty well integrated and strong, let's say Jupiter, that you won't feel it or respond to it as much as other planets. There's just nothing left to respond to. You've integrated its energies into yourself.

A planet posited in a position of emphasis in the natal chart, Pluto for example in mine, means it is key to development in this lifetime. That's why I feel Pluto transits and their importance and why I talk about them so much. But it's also because as the last planet of the solar system, it's the one we tend to develop last and are all in need of developing. Therefore, we all tend to respond to its transits, sometimes pretty dramatically.

A hard transit to a close-orbed hard natal aspect will probably be "felt" more strongly than other transits ... but (as Kannon pointed out), that will not cancel out any of the other transits that are happening at the same time.

For example, alludeu ... you have retrograde natal Venus in an applying square to direct natal Mars, with an orb of only 12 arc minutes. ... This will be activated by transit Sun conjunct natal Venus (and square natal Mars) on 16th->17th->18th August 2020 - whilst transit Mars will be trine natal Venus (and qcx natal Mars) from 14th to 22nd August 2020. So, why not monitor these upcoming transits, to ascertain which of them you feel most strongly - and whether or not the Sun transit cancels out the effect of the Mars transit during 16th to 18th August?
