Hey!How are transits of planets to empty houses? Even when the opposite house is empty too. Are they to be taken seriously or it will be an easy transit? What should be considered? House rulers and then the planet that ruler that sign?

Hello! I sometimes feel like when planets transit empty houses it is positive! I tend to see it as "no news is good news" and certain areas of my life finally getting attention.I have empty 1st house, 4th house,5th house and 7th house. Some houses are easier than others for me. I feel suffocated with 6 and 10 house transits. I have Moon and Pluto in the 6th house. I have Venus and Mars in the 10th house. And to have big planets transiting in these houses at the same time can make me feel like my life is a workaholic distopia-ville. I have been so excited to have the north node in Gemini my first house once 11 degrees. I am so ready to do things for my self that don't involve contributing to society. College is for myself yes, but it's also to be validated and contribute to society. It can only make me feel so good, when I have to give up my hobbies to perform well in my classes. I'm also ready for new beginnings. I ended up getting a new car, and will graduate college. While planets can transit my empty houses sometimes I will learn hard lessons. Because it is squaring or opposing my other planets. Like when Saturn was in my 5th house. It opposed my Sun sign. I had a few hard lessons for romantic and social relationships. But I didn't really have to grow up yet. I was still in my early 20's. I loved when Jupiter was in my 4th house and Saturn was in my 7th because I ended up moving in with my now fiance. IP: Logged |

I'm really glad for you. This year I will finish college too. When I had Saturn in the 6th house, I worked so much that when I think about it, I think that I can't believe I did so much things. I was working full-time and started a full-time degree. I didn't sleep well for a year. And in the next year I took a job with flexible hours. Now it is transiting my 7th house and I can't wait for it to pass. I was asking this because, soon, Saturn will enter my 8th house and I don't know if I can read its transit as a normal transit, since my 8th and 2nd houses are empty. Good luck with your college! Cheers to finishing this year! I am working on my essay questions for exam and about to take a dinner break. When Saturn transited my 6th house I started educating my self of what I can do to quit smoking, and what supplements I can buy. I was successful for 4 months. I have cut down significantly since even with relapses. I also finally picked my degree program and stuck to it. Dang full time work full time school mee_chryssa!? I would malfunction. LOL Don't know what an empty 8th house feels like since I have Neptune and Uranus there. I notice that Moon and Mercury are in Virgo today. I get sad that big planets will not be in Virgo/fourth house for a while. Because I have out grown apartment life years ago. Jupiter transiting Virgo gave me that luck to move out of parents. I also moved out impulsively post HS and I had consequences for it either during or after Saturn in Virgo. Only thing holding me back really is tunnel visioning on classes, and wanting to wedding plan next, and that my fiance sucks at long term goal setting and that I am finally catching on to it. I been wondering, why am I all of a sudden so bothered by kids below me bouncing off the walls at night and to the point of broom banging the floor, and filing a noise complaint the next night!? I see that the late degrees of Leo are my 4th house. So that Aug 18th moon made my living situation emotions powerful. I hope I can handle multitasking an updated living space with wedding planning well. I tend to prioritize goals and then tunnel vision on the highest priority. I am going to talk on the phone with my fiance tonight. I have learned about our gold setting styles. I learned to take a less submissive role in goal setting that affects both of us, and not to just go along with his ideas because he wont stick to them. He hides his fickle Gemini moon well with his Virgo stellulum. But I am seeing his patterns after knowing him half a decade. I have the obsessed Scorpio moon that helps me tunnel vision with vengence. With my Aries Sun and Cappy stelulum plus Venus and Mars 10th house I have to step into a more boss/in charge role so that something actually gets accomplished. Its baffling how someone can be so stable but so fickle at the same time. <3 IP: Logged |

I think there will be more attention to 8 house and 2 house themes. I like houses 2 and 8 houses so much better than 6 and 10 house. Even with 8 house having the same amount of planets as 6 and 10. I've read sometimes you don't feel the happy ending in a house once Saturn leaves that house it relates too. I'm my experience, at least improvement. Saturn in my 8 was not bad, but also not great. Super necessary though. My relationship had some inner working out to do with intimacy. That issue was more of a subtopic in my life. I was pretty occupied with the climax of Neptune squaring my Gemini rising transiting my 10th house and making my career dreams come true. Saturn is in my 9th house it's been great for my grades, and travel. I am getting all A's. I think it helps that this is my Saturn return. My 22 Aries Sun can't wait for it to be over sometimes though. IP: Logged |

If a planet transits an empty house, but makes aspects to other planets in different houses in the form of square, oppositions, trine or sextile, you will feel it. IP: Logged |

Although the house contains no natal bodies ... as a planet transits (or/and progresses) through it, aspects will be made to all planets/bodies/points in the natal chart. ... And, when that happens, an event of some kind will be created (which you may or may not be consciously aware of - either at the time, or subsequently). ... The natal planet will depict what is affected by that event, and the transit (or/and progressed) planet will depict how it is being affected. For example, I have nothing in the 12th house of my natal chart - which has Virgo on the cusp, and is ruled by Mercury in Scorpio/2nd. ... That Mercury also rules my Gemini Mc, the Ascendant and my chart - indicating that job satisfaction would (most likely) be found in a career involving the public (10th house); contact with strangers (Asc); communication (Gemini); in-depth analysis (Scorpio) and finance (2nd house). ... And that career turned out to be a Local Government Accountant/Auditor - which fits perfectly with my Virgo/12th house. Transit Pluto passed through that 12th house during the 12 years from the beginning of my secondary education to the completion of the final examinations (for enrolment as a qualified public sector accountant). However, that Pluto transformation was strongly resisted by me as a child - because (I feared) it would separate me from the working class family/friends/environment/"comfort zone" in which I was born/raised. ... Hence, transit Pluto was squaring my natal Sun-Chiron conjunction (in Scorpio/3rd) throughout the UK academic year for 8-year-olds (when the UK Education Streamlining System attempts to identify which children do, or do not, have the potential to acquire academic qualifications). Pluto has been in my 3rd house since 2008 or 2009. It will be there until 14*Aquarius. I’m tired, so I won’t go into more right now. IP: Logged |

I think it will be more easy than the 6th and 7th house transit, since I have planets in those houses and are kind of busy.Usually, with more aspects (hard or easy aspects) to other planets, the more intense it will be. Even if someone has an empty house, it will be felt and dealt with.

I am excited for the sun to enter Virgo! But then I learned that the second half of Leo is also my 4th house the other day. And that the later degrees of Virgo are my 5th house. Hard to notice that when it is such an empty house. And why is my 6th house so big?! Looking at that part of my natal chart it's like a big slice of pie compared to the other houses, and it's its own special hell. Sometimes I think oh finally Cancer and 4th house action. Well it's been turning out more like family wanting me to watch their kids and pets and being demanding when I just want to mind my own business. I am hoping this energy shift will let me be more domestic and mind my own business. Last day in my bachelors program today! Also I don't hear the kids below me anymore. I think after the complaint they made other arrangements. I hope the are doing okay. But now I can be okay and get my sleep. IP: Logged |

I try to remind myself that I might have kids one day and might feel bad for at least secretly reacting like "OhMyGoDiHaVeALIFE!" When I ask them to watch my kid/s so that "I can do something, anything!" as my sister would say. Have a safe and enjoyable trip! IP: Logged |

Oh yes I knew what you meant. I am actually feeling better than I thought I would about dog sitting. Future mother in law brought a bunch of groceries for me. I think I need the change of scenery. There were some drugged up people being really loud outside of my apartment the other night. I am just getting so stressed being there. The 4th house transits are making me stir crazy about my living situation. My plan was to get an upgraded apartment with in unit washing. But after last week I just want to be done and have a house. I basically told my fiancé. I’m 30, I have two college degrees, people who make less then us have homes. He saw my point of view and was okay with that being our next step.

They can be just as important to our development as transits to houses that have natal planets. Especially when it is outer planets like Pluto, Neptune, Uranus that are doing it. A planet moving through an empty house can still make all kinds of aspects, flowing or challenging, to natal planets/points. Consider the nature of the transiting planets, the nature of the natal house, and especially the aspects being made by the transiting planet to natal planets/points. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
