At ?60 years old he didn't realize he had a problem with growing edema (water) in his chest, around his heart.
He and his wife were in the middle of an outer-state relocation. They planned to stay temporarily in his childhood home until establishing selves (and their business) in this new area.

Unloading more belongings, he found himself extremely tired, problems getting his breath, walking, climbing stairs, was exhausting him.
His condition alarmed his wife (a Pisces), who took him to visit a relative's doctor in that new locale, who immediately sent him to a hospital.
He had 'congestive heart failure'.
They drained the water out of his chest.
Spent several days in the hospital.
He's okay.
