Been wondering, how does this discovery affect astrology?????????? Ophiuchus would be right smack between scorpio and sagitarius... Also, that being said, this would alter some peoples sun sign. It moved me from being a pisces to AQUARIUS ..HMMMMMM anyone a bit more familiar with this topic?

it doesn't affect astrology at all

western astrology isn't even based on where the planets actually are anyway, vedic/sidereal is actually based on the observable stars/planets

tropical system is 24 degrees ahead of what you can actually see so more than likely when you were born the sun was in aquarius anyway not pisces

it doesn't affect vedic astrology either though

Idk i'm confused haha! But sometimes I don't feel the pisces in me!! I feel like a very emotionally stable person, strong, sometimes even emotionless.. but i do have my days (rarely) when i'm all over the place with my emotions. Could be other aspects in my natal chart though(:

^ Me too, and I have effing four planets in Pisces, but I can be really stubborn at times, I do have Mars in Aqua in Western tho and do have an experimental bone in me. About emotions, I think I feel everything, bits and pieces like....but anger, yeah thats usually the first thing I feel along with uhh what do u call it...sexual tingle

It does not affect the tropical zodiac at all since it is not based on constellations. The tropical zodiac is rooted in a base-12 mathematical/geometric system defined by our Sun's relationship to Earth.
