There must be a lot of people who were born with ascendent square midheaven - what's up with these guys? How do you interpret that? What is your experience?IP: Logged |

There can be a block inside them of showing who they are to the world, maybe a hiding or a facade.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

i have it, never thought about iti also have my south node/venus on my ascendant, moon/north node on my descendant and mars very loosely on my ic so there's a lot hitting my angles (jupiter trines my midheaven, uranus and mercury sextilemy ascendant/south node/venus and trine my north node/moon/descendant from different signs) lot of **** going on with my angles i always assumed they usually square each other though, seems to be case often IP: Logged |

I have the angles at the anaretic degree of the mutable signs, with Gemini Uranus on Gemini Mc and Capricorn Jupiter on Sagittarius Ic. The Uranus-Jupiter opposition is the widest orb, at 1deg14mins (with Jupiter 1deg03mins from Ic). ... So, it's a tight-orbed connection that is simultaneously activated by progressions and transits (through any sign) - with at least one natal axis receiving a "not easy" aspect from them (and both when the progression/transit is conjunct an angle). My experience has been that this results in an inseparable connection between Self-Home/family-Partner/Marriage-Career. For me ... it came to a head around the age of 43 (when my father died) ... as it finally dawned on me that I was a workaholic, on the verge of losing both my career (via a breakdown of health) and partner/family (via not spending enough quality time with them). Hence ... the natal task/"promise" of those angular squares and oppositions was to find the correct balance (for me) between self-family-intimates-career. IP: Logged |

Graham - well said, these balances are important for everybody, but maybe a more important issues for square people. I actually come across that when I was checking relocation options, since some have this feature and somehow I am afraid of that.IP: Logged |

Dumuzi - my love also has venus - moon opposition, does that make you a very charming person (since he is). I was also wonder how venus conj. asc people like - are you super popular (pardon my word IP: Logged |

depends on who you ask whether or not i'm charming 😁 generally speaking i have a very easy time getting along with most people here (lindaland) not necessarily, but in work environments and other spaces etc i have no issues so mileage varies with that when people dislike me it's a very strong feeling for them typically and i can get some really strong reactions people don't typically feel neutral feelings towards me i get plenty of love but i get hate too 🤷♀️ is what it is i notice i tend to draw attention even in anonymous spaces and such i'll stand out and people will find me memorable without me trying to get noticed or doing anything lately i've been in hermit mode though so a lot of that has just been at work or online but people also just approach me outside and start up conversations and such so i tend to draw people in without trying and people generally aren't boundary conscious with me (i've had coworkers in a covid positive facility ignore rules because they just felt like they needed to hug me and tell me they loved me and **** , even like temps i didn't really know well at all) IP: Logged |

Graham has hit on the idea. When the Asc & MC are pretty closely square (not using a wide orb to define that), the transits that occur to Asc will occur essentially simultaneously with MC. This ties identity or personal development very closely with MC and/or IC matters (work/goals vs family/private life). Transits to Asc are never isolated to it alone, thus work/home issues nearly always play into those transits that move or challenge personal development and identity in ways those without this natal factor usually don't face. Transits to MC and the opportunities they represent will simultaneously challenge the person's identity and growth (Asc) in ways that complicate matters on a personal level so that they are not straightforward career opportunities as might be assumed. So the person may have to measure priorities and life balance more than others (w/o this natal factor). In other words, it sets up a reciprocal challenge between the work/home balance and the self/other balance that sets the tone for how decisions are made. It can create propulsion for some, for others caution and preference for incremental, modest changes. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
