I have no planets in Aries in the 8th house. But when I experience any transit with it I start to be more impulsive and usually get harm stupidly. I’m Virgo rising and I’ve never understood completely this placement.

Additionally, when Uranus in Aries was doing aspects on my other natal planets (positive ones sun,Mercury,Venus,Jupiter. Oppositions: moon and Mars) it felt very heavy radical and in some way nice, I realized my strength, but at the same time it made me more independent .

I've got Virgo rising and Aries over the 8th cusp as well.

This is probably because Aries and Virgo occupy the same area of 0 - 11.5° north declination. So when a planet, say Mars or a fire planet, is moving through Aries it can make a transit parallel your natal Asc, possibly even near or overlapping the period when that transiting planet makes a quincunx to your Asc.

Generally for an empty house look to the planet ruling that house cusp, like the house it's in and the aspects made to that ruling planet.

In the case of Aries (self expression), where Mars being in Libra in the second house (or 1st/3rd?)...

Second house represents self value, as well as visual arts etc... If the ruling planet of that house is Libra, reaching an epiphany of what balance means for you when it comes to self might've been a strong factor with that transit. Maybe how to go about spending right (Mars/mindlessly spending in the second house, especially when it comes to matters of Libra, like to attract others in order to feel better about yourself). Or maybe the opposite, Uranus had you go 'all out' on spending so to satisfy your self worth.

But yeah, think relating/self expression/self worth. Also eighth house generally involves other people's money. Might've had money flowing in by gesture/inheritance or whatever the sort. Or maybe the opposite, experienced loss of money suddenly. Or gotten money that you spent all at once so to satisfy something within yourself in relation to others. But by the end of that transit hopefully something clicked for you as to how you go about doing certain things.

Also Moon there I forgot about... Is it conjunct? Not saying that it happened, but I think this would be a classic representation of becoming pregnant by mistake lol (with that transit I mean). You really can't single out just one planet/aspect though, but yeah you get the gist of it hopefully...?

Hey Shanon, Thanks for tour reply!

That’s very nice to know, I read quincunx planets could be even more annoying than squares. So it makes sense hahaha (mostly if you have only trines/sextiles and a ocasional square/opposition in your natal chart).

How was your experience with Mars in the 8th house transit?

Hey Brenda! Thanks for your answer 😁

My second house is in Libra, but my Mars and Moon are in the 1st house (very close to be in the 2nd house).

Since Uranus was in the 8th house I learnt how not to expend money restlessly. I used to come from having everything to have nothing. Mostly because of my father’s bad decisions. However it was also a good time to learn self worth ( I loose tons of weight in a healthy way for the first time) and having a better saving policy haha.

I got both experiences, I loose money unexpectedly and got inheritance from my family. It didn’t last too long because I move tho.

The only thing that did not happened was the pregnancy (and I’m very happy about it, when Uranus was in my 8th house bothering my natal planets I was 14-15). And I hope it will not happen for a looong time.
