Hello guys!

I noticed that Aquarius placements have a weakness for Leo ones, specially in relationships. I’m a Leo sun girl with mercury and Venus there as well and Mars and Moon in Libra. I noticed the people that they feel deeply about me have Aquarius placements, specially Moon, Mercury,Mars, Rising and Midheavens. On the second place are the Gemini placements (Sun,Moon,Mercury,Saturn and Rising).

I read that both are sister signs and generally opposites attract, but I feel that Leo warms up Aquarius heart. More than anybody else. What have been your experiences so far?

I have 6 placements in Leo - rising/sun/moon/Venus/SN/Jupiter.

Aquas are very karmic in my life and seem to be surrounding in family, friends, work etc. but oddly not really romantic sense. Maybe that’s why I haven’t found a relationship that works yet? Haha I also attract and am attracted to Gemini’s as well.

Leo - Aquarius is supposed to be a good astrological match. I’ve always wonder how it’s supposed to work if Leo needs to be center of attention, but Aqua could be detached and cold.
There was Leo-Aqua couple. It didn’t end up well. Aqua female needed more attention from Leo, wanted to do things together. He had too many friends and relatives. He was too detached for her taste.
Maybe, Aqua male and Leo female is a better match.

Opposite signs in general have a strong attraction to each other, especially when the symbols involved are different. Like Sun opposite sign of the other person's Rising, Moon, or Venus. Romantically/sexually, Venus opposite Mars and Moon opposite Mars tend to be very strong and highly charged.

In a very real sense, it's like there are actually only 6 Signs that are split into two polarized, but connected halves--one more self or individualistic focused and one more collective or big picture focused.

This is interesting as there are 6 major colors in light, and 6 major Chakras/centers with the 7th corresponding to pure/clear Light itself.

So the opposite Signs are part of each other, and is any wonder why strong opposite Sign interaspects in synastric chart comparisons tend to indicate an odd combination of powerful attraction, a push pull at times, and/or a sense of belonging or being part of each other--almost like they are two parts of the same puzzle?

One of the indications of a twin soul connection astrologically, is a very strong focus on 1st/7th (the self/close other) House axis, both directly via placements and indirectly through strong aspects to the ruler(s) of these.

For example. My Cap Sun is conjunct my partner's Cap Rising. Her Aqua Sun and South Node is in my 7th opposite my Asc degree, and her Aqua Venus is generally opposite my Leo Rising. My Aqua Venus is conjunct her Aqua Sun and South Node and is barely in her 1st House.

The rest of our chart is mostly either all opposite or same Sign (Aries-Libra/Libra and Virgo Pisces axis are also involved).

Another common pattern in twin soul chart comparisons is one person's Sun being opposite Sign of the other's Moon.

When younger, I was under the impression that the best match for a Leo was Aries. There’s some truth to that—they’re both fiery, energetic, compatible—yet there’s some blockages there. They butt heads, and I think generally Leo is usually more loyal than Aries. I’ve found that the few connections I’ve had that were not only on a mental level (where ideas, humor, and general warmth were very prevalent), but also on a physical level, where the attraction really was magnetic, mutual, and unreserved, were with Aquarius males.

Aqua sun

For me, it's kind of true. Leo male strangely can warm me up like no other, but sometimes I can't stand the ego. So, .....

I feel balanced with Aries male though, the feeling of best friend and lover as one.

But I may be different with other Aqua as my chart is mostly fire.

People that have studied astrology more in depth for a long time, have had plenty occasion to note/observe that many of the Sun Sign tropes are not always very accurate.

For example, I've known some Leo Sun, or Leo Rising men who did not have inflated egos.

I've known timid, quiet Aries and weak willed Scorpios, etc.

Strongest/most highlighted Planet is often a stronger indication than Sun Sign.

For example, a Neptunian or Venusian Leo Sun or Rising, is going to be very different than a Martian, Leo Sun or Rising.

A good example of that is DT. He has repeating patterns which strongly suggest strong narcissistic traits. The primary one is Leo Rising with Mars closely conjunct same. (Contributing factors include Venus, ruler of Mid-heaven, closely conjunct Saturn in Cancer--very closed/guarded heart with strong tribal tendencies, and a strong emphasis on the personal sign quadrant i.e. Aries through Cancer).

To be honest, one of the rare few generalizations that I have noted to have some truth in relation to Sun Sign tropes/mainstream astrology, is that people with very strong Aries do tend to be more self focused/centered than the average, but not always so.

For example, I knew a guy who had Arcturus and Neptune Rising, with Aries Sun opposed his Libra Asc. He was unusually fast vibratory and Love oriented.

Ego relates more to level of consciousness/Soul growth, and Signs relate much less to that as indicators than do Planetary strengths.

I am aqua rising with Leo moon, my husband is Aquarius.

I think it’s a good combo, we are very cap heavy though.
