I went on a date with a guy on Monday who I talked to a year ago online but never met up with until I got back in touch with him last week. The date went well and we had another planned for tonight, but then I got upset about him not calling when he said he would. I flipped out and realized I was wrong and I apologized. I asked him to give me a chance to explain myself, but he refused and said he lost interest and didn’t want to talk to me again. I know Mercury retrograde is when people commonly end relationships before they even begin, and then when Mercury rx ends many people try things again. Is that actually that common though?

I guess a relationship did mostly end at the beginning of Mercury retrograde 2011 (the end of March). We spoke a few times after that. We reconnected last year.

The guy you're talking about, may change his mind. Mercury retrograde can also bring people back to you.

Mercury rx can cause couples to break up or exes to return. It's also not wise to start a relationship during this period.

It seems he felt turned off by your reaction. Are you in that kinda commitment already? It's only a phone call, right? Take it easy... Anyway, I hope he will change his mind when the planet goes direct. Good luck.
