I'm a little confused about the transits regarding meeting life partners. I heard that when trying to calculate when you might meet your soulmate/life partner, it's good to have Jupiter transiting your 7H. Jupiter enters Aquarius on Dec 18 later next month (my 7H is in Aquarius). However, Saturn also enters Aquarius on Dec 17 and will be close to Jupiter. So does that stifle Jupiter's energies? What other transits should I consider when it comes to romantic timing? Really interested in a long-term, serious commitment... What about looking at the ruler of my 7H? (Aquarius is ruled by Uranus/Saturn, which are in my 5H-Sag and 3H-Lib, respectively). Aquarius also traditionally rules the 11H and my 11H is in Gem. Gem is ruled by Mercury and mine is in Tau in 10H. So should I be looking at transits involving Sag, Lib, Gem too? So confused.... **Sorry if I'm using the wrong vocabulary. Still somewhat a newbie. I get confused with terms like "house lord, ruler, secondary ruler," etc... IP: Logged |

T.Saturn in 7th H could bring a relationship I just imagine it being serious, lacking the classic initial positive feellings of love/enthusiasm/passion etc or coming with a responsibillity that feels like a burden to the couple (a child for example). However I've seen this scenario happening only a couple of times. Usually T.Saturn there might end an already existing relationship or make it even more serious or burdensome. If there is not a relationship already then it probably won't bring anything really. When T.Saturn entered my 5th H which is another love house, it ended a longterm romantic flirt that seemed to get serious by adding more obstacles. I have the same couple of transits (T. Jupiter and T.Saturn) in my 7th H in Capricorn. They conjuncted my natal North Node, Neptune and Juno while T.Pluto was also being there in my 7th H for many years now. Nothing happened relationship wise. Progressions seem to be very accurate in all cases I've personally seen. More specifically: Progressed Sun conjunct natal Moon or Venus Progressed ASC conjunct natal Moon or Venus Progressed Jupiter conjunct natal Moon or Venus or DSC. Progressed Venus conjunct natal Sun/Moon/ASC/Mars/Jupiter/Neptune/Pluto. It seems that these progressions are enough by themselves to bring something relationship wise without the need of transits. You have to check what was happening the past times you've fallen for someone or you had a relationship with someone. Check transits, progressions, solar arc and solar return. I don't know much about solar return (let alone solar arc) but I've noticed that everytime I fall for someone the Solar Return Moon falls in my natal 5th H while on the other side nothing happens when SR planets fall in my 7th H. It really depends on each individual's natal chart especially when it comes to transits. IP: Logged |

Transit Jupiter and Saturn in 7H can bring relationships. When it's Saturn, you might meet someone serious, mature. Based on my personal experience and observation of my friends, Jupiter transiting 1H and 5H can also kick start a relationship.IP: Logged |

Venus transit 7th is the most obvious, no? It puts more of a focus on finding a romantic partner.Pluto transit 7th, especially if at the same time as Venus 7th would likely lead to something very profound/life-altering I would think. I would think one would be weary of transit Neptune in the 7th, however as it may mean you view your love interest in an unrealistic manner. Transit moon in the 7th, especially while already in a relationship would help to dive deeper into the emotional depths of a relationship or help two people who are thinking about a relationship express their emotions more openly in the interest of moving the relationship along. So maybe moon in 7th for potential partners. IP: Logged |

I would not depress if you find Saturn stifles Jupiter here - there are plenty of other electional windows for relationships to sprout from. But I would look forward to when Jupiter and Saturn square Uranus transiting your 10th Taurus. That's potentially a significant mind opener and could possibly open up a radical change of limitations/expansions in 7house matters.Jupiter transited my 7th Sag without a single thing happening. My DSC is also conj Saturn and square my Venus, and my Jupiter conjuncts my Sun in Pisces - so Jupiter is a strong one for me. It also passed a conjunction with my natal 7th Uranus. Nada in relationship department. No worries. Trust that all happens in divine timing. In all honesty I am somewhat skeptical about the 7th-house relationship hype. It seems to me that it is the first house that deals with relationships overall. IMO relationships are equally likely to happen in 8-9. I'd say these houses represent different levels of one-on-one relationship development - with other and self. There is a certain superficiality about 7th relationships - the further you go the deeper they get. Depending on your astrological/psychological makeup, a relationship may BEGIN in the 7th, but it doesn't mature there by any means. Equally, your own relationship-awareness does not peak there. It simply marks the beginning of a heightened relationship focus that stretch through several houses.
So I would say Jupiter entering 7th is just the beginning of an at least 3-house transit period that will somewhat - perhaps - culminate as it reaches 10th, in terms of relationship expansion. As Jupiter have been transiting my 8th Cap, I've found an increasing growth of self-confidence - my emotional and spiritual nature is much more secure. This opens up for my ability to deal with all relationships. I did not have this experience when it was in the 7th, and if I had started a relationship at that time, then that relationship would need to accept my relatively immature perspective, yet to mature in 8th - even more in 9th which it will now enter. Manifested romantic relationship or not - the transits inspire my growth individually so that I can deal with (all kinds of) relationships better. So take a more long term view - focus on self development that the transits inspire - and you will reap plenty good stuff in due time. IP: Logged |

Jupiter moves faster and presents the initial urge to growth in relationships. Saturn hangs around longer to guide that initial expansion urge in a more substantive way so that such personal relationships are better understood as commitments. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy: Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

I personally know of some individuals who found a partner while transiting Saturn was in their 7th House. They got married with transiting Saturn soon ready to leave their 7th House. {I'm still in touch with one of those couples, and the marriage is past 3 years now, and VERY successful.} {One woman I knew had both transiting Jupiter, with transiting Saturn in their first-pass coming through her 7th Capricorn. She had filed for divorce from a man who kept refusing to give her one. By surprise one day, with Saturn there, he granted her the divorce!} Remember, that transiting-Saturn takes a few years to move through a zodiac sign, or maybe even longer to finish its trek through a house. Good Luck to you, NxNW. IP: Logged |

Thank you, everyone, for all the insightful input!I'm not currently in a relationship so there won't be any endings in those terms with Saturn transiting my 7H. In fact, I've never been in a long-term relationship before (Venus in 12H, childhood trauma, etc) put a lid on all of that for decades. But I've been strongly feeling that urge to be in a serious, committed one since the beginning of the year. I've been really depressed about all of my prospects, not to mention covid, but maybe with Jupiter and Saturn churning through my 7H, that'll lend some good windows of opportunity? Who knows...I guess we'll see. IP: Logged |
