Stringed instruments are ruled by Neptune. But it is not astrology that determines innate skill at such an instrument, but your past lives at learning them. That will bring about Neptune aspects (to personal planets and important cusps like 5th/11th axis) in your birth chart.

I have played guitar for some years myself yes.

But I am not interested so much in myself from a birth chart standpoint.

He's data is born 1980, 28th August.

I don't know his time of birth though.

Doesn't look like much, maybe he has a strong Mercury in his chart.

A strong Neptune/Mercury makes for excellent creativity.

I have played the guitar for 10 years. I don't think I am that great but have the Neptune trine Mercury and the Sun.
