Hi guys, I just took the attachment styles quiz. Despite having a lot of anxiety, I was really surprised to see my attachment style scored mostly as secure. Not to say I have never felt like the other attachment styles before but I answered as best as I could on how I generally feel.

Since the Moon shows how we deal with attachments and our emotional responses to things, I was wondering if this matches up to our Moons. And I'm not just talking about the Moon signs. Consider the aspects and houses that the Moon is in. Sometimes, you can have an exalted Moon but if it receives several negative aspects, that may modify the ease of which we exhibit attachment and emotional responses.

For example, I have Cancer moon in the 1st and it only receives a sextile from both my Mercury and Venus. It is also a singleton water planet in my chart.

I have no trouble expressing affection, needing others, asking for help when I need it, maintaining close relationships, and expressing exactly how I feel with others while simultaneously being independent, set healthy boundaries, and being able to rely on myself when I can. I guess this is why I scored secure on the quiz. That is generally how things go for me, except sometimes things happen and I have definitely been avoidant or anxious in the past for a short period of time.

Can you guys tell me about your experience with this in relation to your chart?

Here's a link to the quiz:

I scored “secure” but not by much. “Disorganized” was right after it. Then ambivalent/anxious, with avoidant being the least. I guess I’ve improved, because “avoidant” is something that I have been.

I’ll have to come back.

I did a similar test a few months ago and I paid for it. It scored as mostly secure, sane as you said, I was really surprised because I am anxious and when some things are out of order, I just ignore them and ghost the person forever. I honestly think that my test was pretty wrong even if when I feel that a person is unreliable, untrusty, I keep my distance from them, function well by myself, not beung afraid to ask for help or express my feeling without the fear of being rejected - of course, when things between me and another person are fine, not when I feel that they can't be trusted.
My Moon is in Taurus and I'm a Cancer ASC. The Moon makes an aspect to almost all the planets in my natal chart. Sextile Sun and Chiron, Trine Neptune/Juno, Sextile ASC and MC, sextile/trine the Nodes. The only hard aspect is an opposition to Pluto which leads me to some back and forward situations between the stability that my Moon likes and the crazy stuff that my Pluto Scorpio 5th house would prefer. Adding that everyone around my age has their Pluto opposite my Moon that it was harder to notice the pattern. So, mostly well aspected. Still I have anxious thoughts and I was depressed at some point.
I think during the test I thought how I was during a long term relationship and that's when I figured out already lots of things and I wasn't jealous anymore, sure about his feelings and I trusted him. So, my insecurites were there in the beginning and they still are when I meet someone new, until I can trust them completely.

As far as I know, we all have all the 3 types inside ourselves and they can be activated in some circumstances. Depending, of course, of the time you spend during those circumstances.
If someone stays in an unstable environment for 1 year, for example, he/she can activate the anxious/avoidant attachment and maintain it until it becomes a part of the person. Then it can be cured with therapy, but the events that lead to this would still be in the memory of the person and it can surface anytime, if the person is not careful next time.

I have Capricorn moon in the 11th/12th house (cusp) and it has a trine aspect with Sun, Mercury, Mars and is sextile Uranus.

I got mostly secure with ambivalent and avoidant following. I tend to be fairly anxious over 'small' stupid things often, but especially with my eating habits and beauty (6th house Saturn). I will admit --- I often isolate myself from my family because I feel like they are just going to complain or make me do chores. I will admit that my self-esteem and confidence is not the best and I am easily frightened.

But besides that, I try my best to respect my friends' boundaries and to be nice to them. Though I feel like I come off as too cold and unfeeling.

Disorganized. Fits to 100%.
Cap Moon 5H sq Pluto, op Sun, Venus, Mercury, Saturn.

Very unstable upbringing which forced me to learn how to go with the flow and also protect my emotions. I can stop liking you within 2 minutes…I can decide 1 hr before our coffee date that I won’t show..etc etc etc

I'm a dissmisive avoidant. To the point that I don't really understand romantic relationships. I don't understand why some people need them, I grew up without any emotional attachment so it's pretty much a given that I would be extremely emotionally independent. I'm honestly not even sure if I'm capable of falling in love with another person.

I will say that as a mother, my children are the only people on the planet who I show that emotional/vulnerable side of myself. I am aware of how cold and aloof I can be but it came very natural to be an attentive and loving mother. It surprised me just how much I love them, it hit me hard when I had my first son. I'd just never known love like that.

My moon is at 29 libra exactly conjunct Pluto.

Scorpio moon in the 4th house. Secure with family and friends, anxious in romantic relationships.

My Dad died suddenly when I was 6 so I’ve been working on abandonment stuff for years.
