Having Jupiter in 7th can also just mean that one ends up with very Jupiter attuned partners, as well. For real world example, I have Aqua DESC with Aqua Venus in the 7th. My spouse/partner of nearly two decades is an Aquarius Sun, Venus, and SN.
Venus is in her 1st House and is the Planet closest to her ASC, and she is very, very Venusian.
In other words, she perfectly mirrors/matches my 7th House between the Aquarius AND the Venus energy, having both very strong in her chart. Aquarius is her strongest Sign attunement by far, and Venus her strongest Planetary attunement by far. She is my 7th in incarnated human form.
It doesn't always work out so nice and neat as this. (since we are twin souls, it's more direct and powerful than sometimes is otherwise). Sometimes it's more indirect. For example, with Jupiter in the 7th, sure it could indicate attracting/being attracted to folks with very strong Jupiter, but it could also mean that one or both of Jupiter's connected Signs, Sagittarius and/or Pisces are very highlighted in the partner's chart.
And look for repeating patterns. For example, I recently responded to a woman here that has Mercury conjunct her DESC and Angular Mars in Virgo, and she was wondering why she tends to attract a lot of Virgo Suns. Very strongly indicated by the Mercury conjunct her DESC and Angular Virgo Mars.
I fell in love with a woman that has Pisces DESC with Pisces Venus Saturn conjunction in the 7th, the faster moving ruler of her 7th--Jupiter is in Sagittarius (and Angular), and the modern ruler of her 7th is in Capricorn and conjunct Aquarius Uranus in the 5th.
I have Jupiter retrograding back into the 1st House, Neptune very strong, angular Pisces SN, I'm a Cap Sun/Merc with Libra Moon and strong Venus, moderate Aquarius, and Angular Uranus aspected to strong/sensitive placements. I basically mirror all of her 7th and 5th House energies in direct and indirect ways.
True Jupitarians Planetary wise, tend, on average, to be on the faster vibratory side--in that sense alone, one might count self to be lucky to be with one as they are often a combination of deep, passionate/intense, but also calm and laid back, spiritual oriented, positive and service minded, empathic and sensitive but also strong and masculine. Typically they tend to have a lot of purple in their aura (a bit closer to the magenta than to the violet).
Basically if you want to understand Jupiter's energy more fully, if you mix 55% or so of Sagittarius with 45% or so of Pisces, that gives you a good understanding of its energy. It's more sensitive, empathic, and Yin balanced than Sagittarius but less passive and mystical and more Yang than Pisces.
But obviously you cannot just look at one factor alone.
