I’m an Aquarius rising and this will be the first time that Saturn transits my 1st house. (I already have Saturn in my first though, in Pisces, not conjunct my AC!).

I asked around to some of my friends and family members about that time period when Saturn was transiting through their 1st H. They all have different experiences but the two things that they all have in common is that they were extremely busy with work/school and that at least a person close to them had passed suddenly.

What’s your experience if you have any?

Very interesting. Saturn was transiting my 1st house when I was about 14 years old. I remember it being an extremely busy year and my grandma (who I was very close to) passed away that year.

The worst Saturn transit was when Saturn conjuncted my natal Moon. Those entire 2 years when Saturn was transiting the zodiac sign where my Moon is were a nightmare. When Saturn left the sign of my Moon, 99% of my issues got resolved within DAYS. I still can't believe it to this day.

With that being said, I so look forward to its transit in Taurus when it will conjunct my Venus (at 1 degree) and Moon (at 22 degrees).

Saturn is your ruling planet, so it's all good.

Aquarius can get a little out of control, a little too wild and a little too "different" due to the co-rulership of Uranus.

Saturn is the ancient and classic ruler of Aquarius, and it coming into your first house can bring you more stability, more gravitas. You have a great opportunity to get your life in order, to reshape yourself into maturity, to get better managerial positions, if these are things you are interested in being, doing and having.

I have found what Cayce's source said about Saturn to be true--that strong Saturn and Saturn cycles correlate with major, sudden, out of the blue changes that are often painful, testing, and challenging in nature.

It also has a correlation with death in that work, though more specifically rare true/final, Soul death.

When Saturn went through my 1st, it was one of the most difficult periods of my life (it didn't help that T. Pluto, ruler of the IC was also squaring N. Saturn, ruler of Sun, Mercury, 6th and co-ruler of Venus and DESC). It happened a few years before Saturn return, and it was definitely more testing and intense than the latter. My ego/shadow got majorly amplified. I also experienced major psychic/nonphysical attacks during this time. Also experienced more mundane, human oriented psychological attacks. Saturn rules my Sun, Mercury, 6th and co-rules my 7th and Venus Signs. Had primarily issues with jobs/work and "open enemies" in the outer world, and as mentioned inner problems of over amplified ego etc.

My amplified, stirred up shadow attracted its corollary in a particular open enemy that was particularly persistent in trying to be my ow personal guru and when I wouldn't allow him in that role, switched to lots of judgement, criticism, and trying to interfere in my life. It was a very weird and dark dynamic. For a brief example, he contacted a forum friend I had met up in person with irl and tried to convince her via a pm that I was a narcissist.

To be fair and honest, I was definitely more narcissistic (more self centered, self sensitive, lower empathy, etc) at the time, but it was actually a shadow projection. One of this guy's first (unwanted/unasked for) p.m.'s to me was, "Do you know who I am?" Well, eventually found out exactly who he was and turns out he's very immersed in the hollyweird scene with lots of money, fame, and clearly too much free time on his hands (and really, someone with Leo South Node should not be an actor, kind of going backwards and not learning one's lessons). And from digging deeper into him and his psyche, figured out, "oh, you accused me of being a narcissist, because in reality, you are a lifelong (and not just temporary) one..makes sense."

Quick examples of such behavior. A few divorces and then serial dater of MUCH younger women (like half his age or more). Read a piece on him where the female interviewer was invited out to dinner with him, and the conversation took an odd turn when he brought out a Eastern spirituality based book, and had her read the role of the disciple and he read the role of the Guru/master. On the first forum, he let it be known that he was really into a particular Guru who was infamous for being the Guru to the Stars, and who obviously had a personality disorder of some kind and who did a lot of fakery/shennigans such as lifting huge weights (but often not mentioned, with an elaborate pulley system helping him).

He gave enough personal clues, astrological clues, which along with developed intuition, helped me to figure it all out. He ended up following me onto another forum from the first one (and which I had stupidly recommended on the old forum), and when I figured exactly who he was, I wrote him a p.m. indicating I figured it out. He immediately disappeared from that forum right after never to be seen or heard from again.

Then another interesting thing happened many years later. My partner on FB saw that he was going to be in our area, and she wrote a message on his page that he would recognize as being connected to him and our past interaction. Then shortly after, I felt nudged to check craigslist missed connections, and I see a thread titled Justin W. (first letter of my last name), and it said something like, "well well, if it isn't my old friend Justin W." plus some more general stuff that I don't remember much of.

And weirdly, the other week I was wondering for some reason, "maybe I was just wrong about that connection". Didn't tell my partner I had been thinking about it, and she had a dream the day after where we ran into this guy at uptown bar during a private function and she was like, oh we should go talk to him. I was like, NAH that's ok. But then she went to the bar, saw him, and said, "do you know Justin W. (said my full name)?" and he was like "oh, yes, I do.", "would you like to meet him?" and he was like yeah I guess. She brings him over to our table and I give her a look, but he was friendly/cordial to both of us (which is kind of his public persona and shtick, very friendly in an impersonal and sort of eccentric way).

Further in the past, when I was feeling psychologically invaded, I thought about ousting him in some way, but I figured that would just create negative karma for me, was overly petty, and besides, there was no way that I could definitively prove anything. He ended up erasing many of his posts from that first forum.

[hmm looking back - this was the end of 2015 until the last stretch of it at the end of 2018]. i had acquired new found freedom from an ex who was stalking me. i went wild, tested my own boundaries and learned a lot from many ups and downs. i wouldnt want to live it again but i wouldnt be the same without it, so i am grateful for that period in my life. i was very busy up until the last stretch, but not with work.. moreso with people i met through work. i made friends, lost friends.. oddly nobody died on me during that time. it was a difficult time relating to people and in hindsight, i was definitely not at my best. painful circumstances happened that made me grow up a bit and take responsibility for my own happiness. my moon is in the 1st and when saturn went retro the second time and made a conjunction with it at the exact degree, i quit drinking. i had been an alcoholic for roughly 20 years at that time. reality kicked in and i finally realized that was not the way i wanted to live. i had also quit smoking cigarettes when saturn initially transited over my ascendant.

my chart isnt very saturnian but my juno is in capricorn. i suppose saturn is something that we need and not necessarily what we want. maybe saturn transits are easier as time goes on and also for those who have learned the necessary lessons. saturn recently made its last trip over my mercury/venus (square) and mars (opposition). pretty sure i fell in love with saturn during this time. it wasnt exactly easy but am actually sad to see him (or her?) go.

@GalacticCoreExplosion

I think I know who you’re talking about! Is his name J.L.? Actor, obsessed with being a mentor, dates women almost half his age... sounds like him! Also, SN in Leo, flirts with interviewers... I’ll add, he looks younger than his age, by A LOT and I have a feeling that he’s trying to become a cult leader 😂

@Belage true! Saturn rules my AC and I also have it in my 1st house. I have a feeling that things will go well for me but I also read many stories where people had “the worst time of their lives” with Transit Saturn on their AC.

@Diamondbaby you’re right! This is not the 1st time I hear about it. It seems like no matter what, Saturn will at the end bring peace.

@Sauerkraut that’s impressive! Good job on that! I’ve had a similar (not comparable) experience but with T.Saturn in my 12th. I’ve been eating super healthy and became (still am) obsessed with my health. I also have the ruler of my AC in my 12th conjunct Neptune. Maybe that’s why I feel Transits before they even touch my AC.

No, that's not him. The guy I'm talking about--our chart comparison is extremely stressed--all kinds of squares, oppositions, and conjunctions between Mars, Saturn, and Pluto to sensitive, personal points.

Like I said, I don't want to oust him for various reasons. The irony is, if he was right about me, I wouldn't think twice about it.

thank you. im with you, i feel like youll be able to handle this transit better than most. you seem prepared and are more familiar with the energy. also i think being aware of the transit helps immensely. i had put astrology on the back burner for awhile until this past year. it was a moment of “hello? couldnt you have just read the f*cking manual? it would have been a lot easier navigating this life vessel, ding dong”.

Right! Everything should go smoothly since it’s basically my energy.

That happened to me so many times. I decided not to focus on astrology for a while and instead “enjoy the moment” and when I finally went back to check charts, transits, etc I was like: omg. I should’ve looked into it!!
