This is something Ive been wondering for a while now. I know it sounds kind of funny because that is what conjunctions are! lol but what I mean is, I have an Aquarius moon, but ever since I was little I dont feel as unemotional as they made out to be. Ive read on moon conjunct Neptune and I resonated a lot with the descriptions. My moon was so close to being conjunct Neptune, but missed by one degree. Uranus conjuncts my moon, and Uranus conjuncts Neptune. Which led me to wonder, is it possible that the Uranus conjunct Neptune takes in the Neptunian qualities and transfers to my moon as well? Even if my Neptune doesn't conjunct my moon? In conjunctions can it work this way? Im trying to understand why I seem to process my emotions less like an Aquarius moon. My moon is in the 12th house as well as Neptune, but I don't think that's enough.

Planets in the same element are still felt by one another like they were in a conjunction, but it is less and less like a conjunction with the number of degrees that they are apart from each other. Ive read an analogy thats quite good: planets in the same sign, but different degrees, are like the accents and dialects of a language that is spoken by the people in a country, they all understand each other, but they speak differently, depending on the degree they are at. A one degree apart from a conjunction is not much. I have a 9 degree conjunction from Neptune to my North Node that some websites dont consider it a conjunction, but Astro does, also parallel to my North Node. IP: Logged |

You could also check the house your moon is in.Example: moon in Aquarius 3rd house. 3rd house is Gemini - so look where Gemini is, and also look at what is aspecting Mercury. This can explain other influences on how your moon manifests itself.

Yes, in the case of conjunctions, they do connect one another to each other, because conjunction means "powerfully resonating with/merging into one another". At least that is my take and what I have observed. At the same time, the ones in actual orb of aspect will be the most strongly felt/noticed all in all. It's similar with Sign cusping. Especially when the Rising, Moon, and Sun are near the end or beginning of a Sign, you can notice a blending. The Zodiac is much like a color wheel or like a dimensional system. In both, the color or dimension doesn't just "jump" from one to another. It gradually phases/transitions into one from the other in both the color wavelength and dimensional sense. For example, what some call "ghosts" are those individuals who are phased between what we call the 3rd dimension and the 4th dimension. When one has a classic "out of body experience", an individual is phasing their vibrational rate and focus to that similar "in between area" that stuck individuals ("ghosts") are focused at. However, practiced OBE'rs like Bob Monroe, have learned that they can start off in that state, and then phase to faster vibrational states and then phase to the other, purely nonphysical dimensions such as 4th, 5th, 6th, etc but often in those cases, they will start to lose the "classic OBE" type feel and perceptual sense. All consciousness is ultimately One and completely interconnected. Astrology of course reflects this deep, archetypal truth on various levels, including cusping and the conjunction "sharing" effect. When I look at a chart, part of what I sense is more like an Auric painting of various colors and shades in various different proportions. I sense, more than see this, as I'm not a very visually oriented person for the most part. IP: Logged | |
