Hi there,
do you do thee astrology charts for your pets? With my current dog, I don't really know her birthday, just a general time frame. All I can really gather is Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune and Uranus.

But we are considering adopting a second dog, and I do know his birthday. I looked at his chart, and I am not sure about him. (I haven't met him yet.)

He was born in Oct 2020, so he has the dreaded retrograde Aries Mars square Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. Together we have intense synastry.

His Pluto and Saturn on my moon in 2nd house. (he will be transformative and somewhat of a drain on me financially and in terms of my home)
We have DW Moon square Mars.
DW Saturn to Moon- my Saturn potentially trines his Moon.
My Mars conjunct his Venus.
My Mercury trine his Mars, which also trines my Neptune to complete the grand trine
His Mercury and Juno sextile my Venus.

Composite shows Sun conjunct Venus, but Mars opposite Moon.

I see a lot of power struggles. I think he will be stubborn and willful, but we would love each other and be attached and committed.

Am I reaching too deep? Looking too hard? It's just that my current dog is an angel and is so mellow and calm and that's what I want... a companion for her as well as for me.

What about you- do you dig in to your pet's astrology?

I think the best way to get a dog is to let the dog pick you! If that’s an option. My dog came right up to us out of all the puppies and we knew it was meant to be.

I wasn’t into astrology when we got him but know his chart now - he’s a Sag sun with Aqua moon and I’m almost sure a Capricorn rising. He’s goofy, serious and aloof, but sweet and loving. His chart perfectly meshes with my family’s, so it all worked out!

I think you also have a lot of good aspects there! Mars/mercury aspects seem great for training.

That's cute. Mine is a Leo and has Mars/Saturn in Libra and his Pluto is in square to Uranus, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon (this one I can't know for sure).

My tiny thing is pretty dangerous.

My dog has his ascendant exactly conjunct my Sun at 12’ Aries... and his Moon on my Ascendant (29 Gem)
It’s pretty cool! I felt as though he chose me. I had no idea what his chart was like before we bought him.
I only later found out the groomer was interested in astrology and she had the exact time of birth noted for the puppies.

I love my dog so much!! Probably my only love at first sight moment in life lol

He also has multiple air sign planets in Aquarius, so he’s extremely friendly/social and balances my lack of air. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot from him haha

Yeah?

My current dog has her Pluto trine my Venus, her Saturn square my Sun... so squares with dogs don't have to be bad I suppose.

I am so used to analyzing relationships with people!

His Aries Mars is retro, his Scorpio Mercury is retro... I am thinking this is a dog who is more inward than out, if that makes sense?

And you're right- my current dog chose us and it was instant love. I am looking for that same instant connection with this guy. It's just with covid restrictions adopting an animal is so much more challenging than ever before! I guess when we get there we will just know. I am bringing my current pup with us and she of course has the ultimate say in whether we adopt him.

Astrology is a double edged sword!

Haha, yes!

My exhusband got me a dog in April 2012 whose birthday was 11-11-11, no joke. Absolutly wonderful dog, I still think about her and consider her my baby even though she stayed with my ex when I moved out in 8/2016. It killed me, but I knew it was what was best for her.

I had no understanding of heart break until I left her. It was like losing a piece of myself.

One day soon after I just decided to get a dog in a vain attempt to lessen the pain. I went on Craigslist and basically just grabbed the first dog. He was a 8 week old puppy born on 8-15-16. I was so emotionally detached from this dog I didn't even name it. I mean I took good care of his needs but tried giving him away shortly after. My sister however absolutely adored this little puppy & would come over daily. Her apartment didn't allow dogs so she couldn't take him even though she wanted to.

One day I text her asking for a picture of the dog so she sent me one. Afterwards she asks me something like "aww are you gonna put his picture up at work." I replied "something like that" I didn't tell her I was getting rid of the dog but she just sensed it. When I came home from work, puppy was gone. My sister had rushed over and grabbed him and took him to her apt anyway.

She ended up naming him Leo after the diamond. I thought it was funny but didn't say anything. A few months later she calls me up all excited because she realized he is a Leo. She thought that was so cool, and quite frankly it was. - He is definitely a Leo, that is for sure.

The end of 2019 I was ready to open my heart to another dog and spent several months visiting shelters but I wasn't feeling any of those dogs or something would go wrong with the adoption.

In Feb I took in a coworkers dog for about a week but my sisters dog wasn't taking to him so I brought him back to my coworker on 2/13 & kinda took a little break in the dog search.

I decided I needed to get a puppy because it would be the best option with Leo since we all were living under the same roof. I started again but Covid hit right away so I put the search on hold again. One night I randomly checked on Craigslist out curiosity, no real intent in getting a dog and posted 3 minutes earlier was a litter of 8 week old blue nose pitbull puppies. I had wanted a blue nose for as long as I could remember. I wasn't previously searching for that breed, just a dog I connected with since I just love dogs in general. Anyways I was the first in line the next day. The first puppy I grabbed I like her face markings but I could tell right when I held her that she wasn't mine. I was overwhelmed when I went back for another, they were all barking I didn't know which one to grab. I locked eyes with the little runt, who was the only one not barking and I grabbed her. I asked God for a sign and no sooner after my little girl lucked my chin real quick and that was that. She took to me right away & I her. Absolutly beautiful dog inside and out. She has fans all over town i love it.

The funny part is her Birthday is 2/15/20
Exactly opposite Leo. Those 2 were so opposite too but got along with each other well.

My sister moved across the country a few months ago so she doesn't get to see her cousin everyday which makes me sad. But Leo is very happy. He had behavioral issues for a few years with strangers & other dogs that we thought would never be fixed. My dog seemed to completely fix this problem. He lives with 2 other dogs now and has no problem with people. He is a completely different dog & it is heart warming to watch videos of him running and playing with other dogs.

Coincidentally, or not, my birthday is on 12/15. I guess I am particular to the number 15.

I love these stories! Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't aware of astrology with my other pets, but I definitely have experienced having NO connection with pets before, and then incredibly deep connections with others. Now knowing astrology the way I do, I really wish I knew my other pets birthdays!
