Topic: Is it really that bad meeting new people during mercury retrograde?

I am learning a new language. I started meeting people online from the country where they speak that language. I want these experiences to be good.I think I started learning the language a month before mercury retrograde (October) last year. And I had the chance to meet two guys my age, but this was when Mercury was in retrograde. They wrote to me every day at the beginning and helped me a lot with my learning. They were extremely nice to me! One of them began to tell me that he liked me as more than a friend, maybe a month after I started talking, and although I don't like those things, I kept talking to both of them because it seemed impossible to know many people from that country who want to help me. The other one started flirting with me almost three months later. The first one, out of nowhere, began to be aggressive and the second one, stopped responding to me, all of that happened at the beginning of this year. It seemed strange to me. Especially what the second guy did, because he seemed decent but then he got intense, starting with a joke that we might get married, then telling me that I'm beautiful and out of nowhere he starts ignoring me. I still have them both on social media, although I don't know if that's a good idea. So I wonder, did this happen because I met them when Mercury was retrograde? Or was it just a coincidence? I simply want to learn this language and have friends from that country. And now I am meeting new people! And I want it to be a good thing, especially for my learning. I have Mercury in Aquarius 26° 45', Venus/MC in Aquarius 11° 22', Mars in Leo 14° 5', Ascendant in Taurus 7° 12' and North Node in Scorpio 6° 37'.So I guess it affects me. IP: Logged |

hey thereI'm sorry you went through this but I don't think that mercury retrograde is the reason for their behavior, although it comes with it's own problems lol, it looks like you just met bad people and meeting bad people doesn't have a timing sadly, definitely delete them off social media, they're not worth your time and also be careful sharing your socials with people you just met cause really you never know someone even if you think you do don't worry about finding people from that country, I'm not totally knowledgeable in these areas but maybe you can find some language programs that would help you meet people from that country anyways have a good day! ------------------
