One would expect the complete opposite of somebody with an Aries Mars, right? Since it’s at “home” here, and Mars rules one’s desires and going after what they want, I wonder if the position is so strong, that it can “double” the willpower & self-control. What do you think?

Mars in Aries, in and of itself, would tend to indicate a strong, impulsive, hard to control sex drive.

On the other hand, people with strong Scorpio, Pluto, and/or highlighted 8th House can more so align with that pattern, because in those cases, often times the energy is either being repressed/suppressed, or more rarely redirected to other channels of activity (can be various things--creativity, sports/athletics, spiritual attunement, etc).

I'm a guy and I don't have Mars in Aries, but in Virgo (and conjunct Jupiter, ruler of 5th and 8th, and square 5th House Neptune ruler of the 8th), and I'm often similar. Sometimes I do masturbate more often than that, but not out of horniness, but because of my crazy work schedule and that I try to make myself more sleepy/tired/relaxed so I can fall asleep easier/faster. In those cases, its almost like a chore and its like, lets get this done and over with.

Aries energy has little impulse control. This unless influences by Lib/Cap/Can energy. The natural "square" relationship.

If there is semi-sextile or inconjunct aspects, they can completely "switch off" in one area. And then be on in another.

For instance if in the latter Mars in Aries is semi-sextile Venus in Virgo. One would exert all the energies of Aries in workout plans, diet, fighting off diseases or work stuff etc.

When it comes relationships however(7th), they may become completely anal about whom they date. This to a point of being "prudish".

People will say "wait. But your Mars in Aries is supposed to make you a sex maniac
chasing the next hot body?"

This will not be the case with the semi-sextile.The individual may compartmentalize their Mars to ONLY work in 6th house related things. Whilst Venus in Virgo has dominion over the 7th. Picky picky picky.

So when Mars/Aries are together, it's a double dose of energy to insert/assert oneself in that area of life. To do what one wants(so to speak).

When on the angle that concerns home, the inner concept of "peace", roots, place of rest, sense of belonging/family, conveniences etc. Mars-Aries here can have a numberof manifestation.

Protective of things that you care about, protective of your home base,protective of women/babies or people you consider "vulnerable", fire in the home, home burning down, war over the home, moving out of the house to build ur own home, coming from an active-even violent family past,a family at war with itself,Not being able to sleep becaise of domestic violence,an ancestor who will not "rest in peace", long standing feud within the family, tension in the home, Mom/Dad was into sports or had a very active lifestyle Mom/Dad has a fiery temper that consumes the home atmosphere, Mom/Dad is fiercely independent & wants distance from extended family,raised by a single parent, divorce that divides the home, obsessed witj home security system, patriotic or has veru strong feelijgs about home country,having your own home early in life,living with aggressive people, sharing a living space with men, enlisting in the army young and growing up under its wing etc.
