Bless your heart, wow you had such an amazingly active life, glad you got to be so active for a season of your life span.

I think video games are tricky, and you can end up dumping too much of your time on them so its definitely something you want to be mindful around and not consume all your free time on, diversifying in how you use your time is important as your body and spirit need attention and your mind needs to be stimulated in other ways, maybe be picky about the games you play is my perspective on it, I tend to play video games in phases like when a new game really captures my attention usually during winter or to relax for a bit.

Because I actually like outdoor fun and activities and other games.

Some years ago my health started to get worse, then I got diagnosed with lupus, arthritis, and other autoimmune issues.

So I had to say goodbye to:

dancing
martial arts
skateboarding
surfing
baseball
tennis
snowboarding
soccer

But because of my bone fragility I can't do those things now, or risk an injury. Sometimes it simply hurts to use the vacuum because of pain issues.

If my health was top notch I probably would rarely touch video games. But in that way gaming can be good because it gives us an outlet even if we can't physically do much anymore. But I do get bored of non-physical games. Like I crave physical stimulation.

I've got my sun, mars and merc in the 5th house.

It's terrible though. I'm a naturally outdoorsy, playful, hyper active person who's being forced to live a very mild, gentle lifestyle due to health issues, so I've had to adjust my dreams and aspirations. That's life I guess. It could be worse.

I’m not naturally athletic (although I was good at a couple of things, and enjoyed being more active, when I was in the mood). I have health issues, too. My sister got me back into gaming, after my mum died, and we used to play a game together.

I downloaded Alien: Isolation, last night, for free, but I’m not playing as much of anything as I was. I have these games that I haven’t even tried yet.
http://www.cnet.com/news/alien-isolation-is-just-one-of-two-free-games-you-can-get-this-week-from-epic/ -they give away a free game or two, every week, but I keep forgetting to check them out.

My mom has an autoimmune disease related to thyroid issues and has osteoporosis and she swears by Tai Chi and I think there are kundalini yoga excercises that will be safe for you to do and with all the props you can get for Yoga it may be a real option for you. I have been watching YouTube videos and doing Yoga at home, my yoga cushion arrived yesterday, may get the blocks next.

I love it when it is also online, interacting with others (Venus in 11th trine Uranus). I made some online friends via gaming.

I even tested app games for a bit too.

But gaming isn't a priority anymore, I prefer astrology now haha
Getting lost into something, is what I crave and some human interaction.

Being an Aries does comes with some excitement when playing against others.

My bf has venus trine uranus in 11th
And says the same thing
He prefer to play online games with a
Group of people

Aw, bless you for your advice. I appreciate it. I do indeed try out softer exercises as well to see which I like. I'll take a look at that, too

I like to play Zelda or other adventure games like that. I like immersing myself into the world and just enjoy! I have a Sag Mercury conjunct Venus and Neptune. Maybe that’s what does it. And yet, I’m not one to be gaming all the time, but it’s definitely something I do regularly!

I relate very well with this, it's the stories and the world which really get me. I have tried playing Zelda a couple of times, I love the puzzles but I never managed to play them all the way so I just enjoy watching others play the series on walkthroughs.
------------------------------

For me gaming allows me to seek and experience adventure [that I wouldn't be able to get in RL], communicate as well as feed my creative side through imagination, appreciation and learning.

It also allows me to project archetypes/aspects of myself which I tend to hide from others and have difficulty understanding myself, onto the avatars I create.

But it can also be used as a means to escape, in the worst case scenario, as I lose myself within that world.

What I think could have influenced it;

Mars [4h] in Pisces [cusp 5h]
Venus [5h] in Aries
ASC Sagittarius
Moon [9h] Leo
sun [4h] in Pisces
sun square ASC
mercury [aqua 3h] Sextile Venus

Neptune [2h] conj Uranus [3h] Sextile Pluto in 12h [Sagittarius] which Conj ASC

RPG's would be my utmost favourite as well as strategy games, I would get bored of fps/competitive [super stressed and triggered too] and grind games as the story is what interests me.

I also enjoy watching others play.
----------------------
GW2, Pillars of eternity, Harvest moon, dragon age, Otome games , wolf quest, indie games, Zelda etc...

I used to be a huge gamer. Original game systems right into the PC days. I quit at about 35 ish. Used to love Doom, the other games Spear of Destiny and Tetris was a favorite too. RPGs were a few but I didn't get to dabble into many modern ones I think look cool. The one's often relating with history and mythology.

My natal Uranus (elec) qualities are in h3. Uranus is in it's natural house for me - 11th Libra. Which is the esoteric sign Uranus rules. I have a strong tendency towards electric hobbies. Games definitely fits that. Plus Libra, I enjoyed my mates playing too. Funny - I quit not long after getting married. Maybe 5 years in. Libra could have a huge adhesive quality in my case.

@Travelman,

I did play "Final Fantasy" but didn't get familiar with each one. I stepped in by happenstance to FF7. Loved it though!

Anyone enjoy carnival games? I used yo really love those and raiding the jaw claw glass cubes. I would enjoy winning stuffed animals. So fun.
