Is it ACTUALLY the same as Mars conjunct ASC?

I have this in my chart and don’t find the classic descriptions of Mars conjunct ASC to describe me well.

It’s difficult to single it out too cuz my ruling planet is in Aries and not sure if whatever fieriness I do have is from my ASC being in Aries or if it’s Mars parallel ASC.

E.g. I can lose my cool at times although I’m generally pretty laid back and not “energetic” at all.

Is there another way to tell how much this parallel aspect would affect a person? Any specific features to look out for?

Also I’m guessing its qualities would change if it’s in fall in Cancer if so how would it be different (when it comes to physical appearance let as an example or whatever else).

Have the same thing with Uranus being contra-parallel my ASC so curious if you have any insights on this too 😁 (but same issue again it also opposes my Venus so would be difficult to single it out).

Thanks!

When on the Asc, it is difficult to 'self assess'.

Typically Mars on the Asc exposes the face and/or body to cuts and bruises.

Do you find you have said hit a and bruises on face. Or that you sustain small cuts or ailments as you go about your day?

Add to that, you could have less facial fat or overall fat in the body.Mars tends to shrink the fat & even create a muscular build (both male and female)

Mars on the Asc could also suggest you have an abrasive/brusque way of relating to people. You don't do "niceties" and because you are quite blunt, it can come across as "mean" or "uncouth".

You may lean your head forward when you walk as if to "lead" your body. Walk fast.Slam doors or cupboards (unintentionally)- as Mars is not 'graceful'.

You may like to do things independent of others. And by default, you want to do things on your own I.e you may dislike getting the permission of all people involved in decision-making or just avoid groups.

Mars is also a loner. So there may be some social awkwardness or inability to "blend" well with others/group think.

To further illustrate my point, a friend of mine just had a massive blowout with a friend.

Both he and the friend are Lib Sun. He has Sun/Moo /Merc/Ven in Lib.So he is strongly Venus influenced.

Natally Mars-Virgo 20 is currently opposite Ven-Pis 23.Mars in natal Vir is contra-pararell transiting Ven Pisces.

TransMoon-Aries is also opp NatMerc-Lib. So however way he tried to explain himself to those who disagree with him.He is going to be misunderstood 🙆🏿‍♂️

I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’m exposed to cuts and bruises much on the face area... does dry facial skin (when compared to the rest of the body) point to Mars?

I have a narrow/longish face which I’d guess is a rather feminine trait...? I don’t have a muscular build although I’m fairly strong for a female.

“ Mars on the Asc could also suggest you have an abrasive/brusque way of relating to people. You don't do "niceties" and because you are quite blunt, it can come across as "mean" or "uncouth". “

This ^^ is very true. But wouldn’t an Aries Mercury do that, especially if it’s my ruling planet?

“ You may lean your head forward when you walk as if to "lead" your body. Walk fast.Slam doors or cupboards (unintentionally)- as Mars is not 'graceful'. “

I’m either a very relaxed walker/dreamer or just the opposite, as you said - I used to walk with my head leading my body but definitely not anymore lol.

Maybe Venus in my first tames things a bit.

“ You may like to do things independent of others. And by default, you want to do things on your own I.e you may dislike getting the permission of all people involved in decision-making or just avoid groups. “

YESSSS I love to do things on my own and get disinterested if it needs to involve others. But still, wouldn’t a Mercury Aries do that too? Like how do I know it’s simply not my chart ruler.

“ Mars is also a loner. So there may be some social awkwardness or inability to "blend" well with others/group think.”

Unfortunately 😅 true -the awkward blending part. But I have so many other things pointing to that too, like my Sun/Moon in the 12th. Venus inconjunct Saturn. I try to act as of this is precisely what I wanna achieve so to minimize awkwardness lol - like acting stoic or whatever. Or is that the Mars at play?

But how do I know all this is not my Mercury Aries?

Funny you mention the blowout part, literally just had this today with somebody - transit Mars is parallel my Mars precisely (less than .01 degrees). But still wouldn’t be telling enough I’m guessing? Since Mars parallel Mars is strong enough to do that even if my ASC parallel wouldn’t be involved.

Transits are actually a good idea to look out for maybe it can help me determine it by seeing certain patterns... thanks!
