In portions of my lifetime this was true but I withdrew from larger grps.
My thoughts are jupiter in 7th. Fun + gregarious in a place with others. As well 11th. I have that one.

Neptune on DSC (female) Mars conjunct Neptune in a guy's chart Leo ASC square Pluto in a girl's chart, majority of her personal planets in Scorpio (but they didn't aspect her Pluto). Very nice energy, definately on the popular side. Pluto-Moon in a man's chart. I don't know why this particular one.. Pluto-Mars hasn't v
been proven as "strong". Jupiter in 5th (maybe it has a similar effect in the 11th H) if not afflicted/restricted, they overdo it in 5th H activities (casual sex, parties, creative stuff which might include many things) so they might be seen as fun to be around or at least in such occasions like parties/gatherings etc. Uranus/Aqua heavy people if not afflicted they mightbe popular because of being original/weirdos/detached/intelligent/futuristic. Leo ASC maybe Leo Moon too. Unlike the above ones they usually crave the attention they get. People who would stand out among others have been very few in my experience. IP: Logged |

Jupiter - sun aspects, especially conjunctions.libra placements - Libra is known to be really sociable. Aspects that make someone extroverted and actually crave the attention they get from others. I don't necessarily agree with Uranus heavy people being popular if they are weirdos or detached. Weirdos are usually socially shunned and most people don't like to be close to someone who is overly detached. I do know an Aqua sun conjunct Venus and Jupiter in Aqua with a Leo moon to be very popular. She is a true humanitarian and helps where she can. Not (just) by listening to problems, but by actively helping. She is the first one who offers to help when she hears someone is moving. She also took a girl in from her home country and let her live in her flat for free until she found a job and got settled in her own flat (she wasn't related to her, she was some friend's daughter). She is very compassionate, positive, funny and non judgemental and overall just likes people so I completely understand why she is popular. IP: Logged |

Ive got neptune conjunct uranus in capricorn in my 7th (not super close to dc). My Aries Venus in the 10th square my neptune-uranus in cap 7th house conjunction makes for unstable relationships with eccentric men in my opinion. Im not a fan.

Same here, Uranus and Neptune on DSC all in Cap. I absolutely agree about unconventional and unstable relationships.. I want my space and time too. I love my freedom. I don't even want marriage or kids so I am considered unconvantional myself. Uranus is original and indepedent, I love that part of Uranus but if you want stabillity then you're *#$%@% up. I don't even attract ubstable/unavailable guys it's always due to external circumstances or obstacles. However I'm pretty sure the infatuation from others which was pretty dramatic in school years and even in uni had to be because of Neptune on my DSC. The whole thing was very much of a Neptunian nature. Another girl on another astro forum had also her Neptune on her DSC and she had very similar experiences.

I have my Taurus sun conjunct my 11th house cusp and I was always pals with the popular girls but I was always too shy to be popular myself probably because of my Cancer rising and Capricorn moon (I came off as aloof and stoic). IP: Logged |

I agree about heavy Uranus people could be not accepted and misunderstood by many. But popular, and likable, and want to be around them are not the same. Should I mention Trump here... I dont know whats wrong with my Libra, but I mostly socialize only if I should. IP: Logged |
