Hi, anyone [<1986] care to share their experience of such a transit?

Uranus is among us of Scorpio Pluto generation

quote:
Lyn Birkbeck's transit description: Uranus Opposition (confronting) Pluto

Significance: This is a strong influence and usually attracts confrontations that in turn increase your awareness of the matter concerned.

Keyphrases: Disruptive Obessions -Awakening Power - Sweeping Changes

Theme: Forced awareness of your Pluto profile, through unconscious fixations and motivations being brought to the surface

When the 'mains" need replacing or mending, first the road has to be dug up! Whatever it is in your life that is holding you down, now expect it to be shattered or become more than usually troublesome. Once you have let go of those things or people that you have clung to, or those phobias that have clung to you -then you will begin to experience a great release of energy that will allow you to breathe freely and get on with the rest your life with renewed vigour and conviction.

Possible Encounters: Necessary Collapse -Revelations - Upsetting People

quote:
This is a great transit for clearing things out of your life --- whether you want them to go or not. The changes that Pluto brings are slow. They may take many years to build up. Like a volcano getting ready to erupt, everything may seem placid for many years, but there are forces of change working unseen. Uranus changes, by contrast, strike like lightning.

Put these two together, and you’ve got a spectacular show. Things will be going out of your life at this time. Accept this. Let go of as much as possible and salvage what you can. Frequently, these changes will be for the better, although you may not be able to see this at the time. This transit, especially the stressful aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition) can bring the kind of experiences that everyone wants to have gone through, but no one wants to go through. The changes will be greatest in the areas of your life where Pluto is located in your birth chart and where Uranus happens to be transiting. For instance, if financial houses (2 and 8) are involved, watch out for financial reversals or tax problems. Fortunately, transits can be checked even years ahead, so you can make plans to handle the situation well in advance.

Well that just basically summed up my last 2-3 years. Sheesh. I literally said the other day, I’m grateful to have gone through those things, but I never want to go through them ever again.

This transit just ended for me. I feel like a breath of fresh air! But even stronger

For me, this was when my family life was mostly demolished. Uranus square Pluto, and opposing my own Pluto. When Mars conjoined Uranus and my Jupiter opposed Pluto, we got into an accident (me and my dad), and I was dealing with a lot at home. That was in the beginning months of everything being really bad here, for me.

Pluto co-rules my ascendant.

I get to deal with Pluto square Uranus/ascendant in a few years. Not looking forward to it. My life has mostly been hit by Pluto, over the past decade, and I need a break.

BAHAHAHH! I could write a literal epic novel on this. I have 4 planets in Scorpio in my 6th house, with the first one being Pluto 2 degrees Scorpio. Uranus has now opposed my Pluto and Sun, with 2 more to go (Saturn and Mercury) and I feel like taking shelter and I'm only half way there! Then, after opposing all my Scorpio planets, it will conjunct my AC/NN in Taurus - so fun!

Definitely pay attention to what house your Scorpio Pluto is in. I can say 100% my changes and upheavals have been completely related to my 6th house - health, work, every day life just completely turned on it's head and the transformations were kick started by the opposition of my Scorpio Pluto. Uranus opposite Pluto I had a brush with death when diagnosed with cancer. Uranus opposite Sun I had major upheavals in my work/career and in my relationship with my husband.
