Should you consider your 9th house before you move in to another country? For example neptune in 9th shouldn't move to the another country because of deception and loss? (or saturn in 9th because of restriction) Venus or jupiter in 9th should move to the another country ? Does our 9th house influences our life in that country totally? I am asking because, I have 9th house stellium and some of these are considered as malefic or bad. IP: Logged |

My Venus sits in Sag in the ninth house. That placement trines my Mars and Pluto. You would think this planetary configuration might be a natural, smooth-sailing arrangement for anyone who wanted to immigrate. In fact, the very first astrologer who looked at my birth chart said she would be surprised if I DID NOT immigrate. Shortly before the turn of Y2K (about 22 years ago) I wanted to relocate to Canada. But according to a long list of regulations, the Canadian government wouldn't have me. They're extremely fussy about this, or so they would have you believe. This was long before COVID and even before the 9/11 tragedy. When I was in my twenties I did live and work for two years in Sweden. The hassle with red-tape was awful, even when I had paper in hand to show that I had a good job lined up before I entered the country. So there is more to the subject than one's birth chart. Very interesting topic, however, and I look forward to input from those who have relocated successfully.

"Does our 9th house influences our life in that country totally?"You might be thinking along the right track here. When I lived in Sweden, my work took me to remote parts of the country that even most Swedes never saw. From the standpoint of travel, learning and adventure (ninth house matters), those two years stand near the top of my foreign experiences. IP: Logged |

Very interesting with Venus in 9th and with that trines as you said I was expecting something happy. Did you calculated your relocation chart based on sweden ? Do you have a 12th house stellium or 6th in that chart ?IP: Logged |

I have sun and Venus in the 9th house and have moved around a lot! I have lived in many cities and several countries, have been interested a lot in higher education (and have finished 2 uni degrees) and I love learning and broadening my horizon. Moving has always led to me a new step in the evolution of my personality. So I'm a textbook 9th houser in this respect. What country are you attracted to specifically? I always moved to those places I felt strongly drawn to and felt I need to go there for a period of timeIP: Logged |

I knew nothing about astrology when I decided to go abroad. What's more I would have thought anyone who suggested a birth chart consultation over the matter was crazy. In hindsight, it probably would have been a good idea had I made such a consultation. Also in hindsight, I suspect that period of my life would have been difficult no matter where I was living and working - home or abroad. Regardless of what your chart looks like, I believe it would be worthwhile to consult with an expert astrologer before relocating. It can be stressful, expensive, a waste of time, or even disastrous, depending on motives, timing, destination, etc. My 12th house is empty. Not much going on in the 6th either. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the answers, but I was talking about "Relocation Chart" you can google it from astro seek. For example you enter your birth data after that you enter the place that you moved, and this chart becomes your relocation chart. I was asking if there is anything 6th or 12th in your "relocation chart". Also anyone calculated their relocation chart can explain if you have info too. IP: Logged |

Yes, it describes the events once we relocate, but not by itself alone. The 9th house cusp sign, it's ruler and the first planet in the house describe the events immediately after your relocation. What happens next depends on how your stellium is organized and its aspects. You have Saturn, but - is it really malefic in your chart? Check Jupiter, 4th house and Moon (your home country vs abroad, under what conditions you move and return, will you ever return, should you relocate at all, etc.), 12th house (your new home), 3rd house (how, is someone helping you relocate, do you have help abroad) too, to get most of the picture - before you look at the relocation chart. Jupiter and SN in 9H. Did move to USA when I was 19 and stayed for 19 years. Now I’m back in Europe, where I finally feel I belong. It’s home. IP: Logged |

Charlie?Where's your Moon and how strong are the Moon and the 4th house compared to 9th? Stronger 4th house tends to bring people back to homeland, at some point. IP: Logged |

Sag 4H Neptune conjunct IC. Cap Moon 5H opposite Cancer Sun, Mercury, Venus + a bunch of other aspects. When I was a kid a strongly felt I should have been born elsewhere (I always felt Africa) and I detested Sweden. But now that I’m older that feeling is slowly going away.

Most of Africa is represented by Capricorn, I guess that's why your Moon felt it should be there? I was wondering if you had any placements in Cancer that would explain your departure to USA, and it turned out you have plenty :) It makes sense it eventually brought you back too, together with the node and the Moon. I've been researching how much the 9th house and its ruler describe the countries we go to, symbolically and literally - Sweden is Sagittarius/Cancer mix, I think your IC with Neptune describes it well? But, Sag also points at any multicultural country and your Jupiter in the 9th in Taurus (right?) and Venus in Cancer took you to one, USA being Cancer Sun and Sag rising. So far, I'm fascinated with accuracy:) IP: Logged |
