Hello! I was born in Africa and my birth certificate doesn’t have my time of birth. My mother was certain I was born at 00:10, but then she said I was born at 00:30-00-:35 (anyways she was sure I was born very early in the day). I’ve managed to figure out from estimating and analyzing my chart that I’m an Aries rising, but I haven’t found the exact degree of my rising sign. I’m quite sure that my rising degree falls in the second decan, but the exact degree of that I don’t know.

I’m a little bit of perfectionist though, and I really want to know the exact rising degree, but it’s been hard to find a technique I could use to help me figure this out. I’ve tried using degree theory by Nikolaj, but most of the degrees in the time frame all relate to me in some way because of my other placements. For example, if I use 00:10 as my time of birth that makes my ascendant 11 degrees Aries, and according to degree theory that’s an Aquarius degree. The problem is that I have Saturn conjunct my sun so it’s easy to relate to that.
