I have been fascinated with how Quantum Physics is changing our understanding of time. According to Quantum mechanics, time is not linear and consistent, and some scientists even say time does not exist. In astrology, time is ruled by Saturn. Saturn symbolizes fear. If time does not really exist, then our fears are just illusions? This is really helping me to transcend astrology. IP: Logged |

That’s a very interesting interpretation. Fear as an illusion—how powerful that makes one feel! IP: Logged |

Fear is a survival instinct. It is very important for our personal evolution process. Without feeling fear, and without trying to build up the strength and gain the knowledge to overcome the fear, we would be lost. And possibly dead in an untimely matter. IP: Logged |

Youtube has tons of very interesting videos on quantum physics and time. Some of the videos can be dry or exciting, depending on the scientist doing who is doing it. I thought this video is phenomenal: https://youtu.be/-6rWqJhDv7M?t=7 Here are a few good articles: https://medium.com/the-infinite-universe/another-dimension-may-explain-time-and-quantum-mechanics-b353afcbb2f2 http://www.exactlywhatistime.com/physics-of-time/quantum-time/ IP: Logged |

Of course, some level of fear is necessary for our survival. We need fear to put us into fight or flight mode in order to quickly deal with the lion or the spear wielding warrior. Or the lack of food on our table or the lack of roof over our head. However, from an astrological perspective, we all have Saturn somewhere in our chart, and depending on the house and sign where Saturn falls, the fear is as varied as the 12 houses and 12 signs and not necessarily survival related. Someone who has Saturn in 5 house will experience different fears than someone who has 2nd house Saturn, and different from someone who has 7th house Saturn, and also different from 1st house Saturn. And so on. So even though we are humans, we don't all experience the same fears. Therefore, these fears that are not normal survival related fears, those fears that are shown by the house location and sign of Saturn, aren't they illusions? Aren't they stories we tell ourselves? Time: Do the past, present, and future exist all at once? https://youtu.be/5vzymaIabWI?t=5 Time is no longer considered this crystallized, certain, linear and solid element. What are the implications for Saturn the God of Time and our fears? IP: Logged |

I need to try to sleep, but you might be interested in The Intention Experiment, and another book by the author. IP: Logged |

Never heard of it but I just checked it out and it looks fascinating, like a scientific explanation for the Law of Attraction. Thanks! I just ordered a copy!

Time is also a prison, which Saturn is also known for. IP: Logged |

Time, like consciousness, is relative and contextual. If someone were residing on Pluto, one year for that person would be 248 earth years for us earthlings. Another instance in which time is relative (like consciousness) is that it has its own seasons, cycles, and reasons for what we experience and why things happen. For instance, there are times when things go wonderfully in our lives and other times when things are awful—or, at least, seem to be based on our present awareness, perspectives, understandings...consciousness. In this sense, each of us is like our own time machines, having unique cycles, experiences, thoughts, and points of view. In the wider perspective of time as it's measured universally (based on the relative position of the earth to the Sun and other celestial bodies' position, including the Sun, to the universe/galaxy), it establishes a common frame of reference to reality from which we can all find a common ground and meeting of minds to discuss experiences, happenings, and events in the wide scheme of things. I believe there are other dimensions, but - as everything is relative, I'm sure time as measure in those realms is different from time measured in the physical universe (if measured at all). As to quantum physics, or quantum mechanics, it plays a profoundly intricate role in the cosmic and astrological origins of reincarnation via the inter-dimensional pathway a soul takes as it reincarnates from SPIRITUAL origins to physical reality & the specific cosmic code it brings to the soon-to-be-born body it will inhabit while on earth. This is an area where science and spirituality can be united for anyone interested in studying the scientific basis for psi or psychic forces. @Suspended_MatterThat was pretty deep, that each of us is like our own Time machine. Really loved the additional insight you brought here. IP: Logged |
