Capricorn + Saturn, Pisces + Neptune - in my experience these are two culprits that indicate suffering.Pisces suffering is loss, undoing, depression, tendency toward suicidal desires, substance abuse to cope. Heavily aspected Neptune or even Pisces stelliums can make a tender heart who feels pain easily, and has almost no "shell" to shield from the world around them. Capricornian + Saturnian suffering is melacholy, and extreme hardship and obstacles to be overcome, sometimes at the expense of their dreams. Things show up for them to "conquer" and they feel they must slave away at times to earn their freedom. They feel "stuck" and feel punished by life. Cap/Sat also deals in fear, insecurity, fear of not being good enough etc. And of course Chiron and anything aspecting it will show areas that the person is suffering, how, and why etc. As for how much or how long it lasts in a person's life - depends person to person. I agree about Saturn (especially squares, also oppositions and even conjunctions to personal planets and/or angles) Also personal planets in 8th house, 12th house. Pluto touching personal planets and angles and even Uranus (Uranus nurishes instabilty)

Well as I am new to astrology, from what I know Chiron is making everything a struggle for me as if whatever everyone gets for free I have to prove my worth and have to fight for. As if when I was born somebody came and said you will be a fighter and nothing will come for free. You will have to fight for it. Sometimes I am just tired of everything and everyone and I wish someone would just appear tell me its ok you don't have to fight anymore I am here, take it easy from now on. That's actually one of the reasons I am seriously involved in philanthropy. Because there are people who have had harder time.than me and they need someone just to be there for them. IP: Logged |

Wow Mary! .. In addition to what you wrote-- Sounds also like natal Saturn in the 6th House, OR, transit of Saturn through the 6th. Would you have Neptune there too? (natal or transit) The 6th House can have to do with working in an office involved with philanthropy. The 12th/6th Axis belong to doing Service; Volunteerism. Unions. Saturn is hard work, or harder work. No short-cuts. Neptune can be sacrificial; self-sacrifice and compassion work. IP: Logged |

I agree with the some of the above comments. My partner is the definition of suffering the poor guy. -He has sun conjunct chiron in 8th house opposing saturn. -Mercury in 8th house opposing Neptune in capricorn. -Pluto in 12th conj scorpio asc - Jupiter in pisces at apex of a double t square with the merc/sun-chiron conj in 8th and uranus.. Needless to say life has been an endless mental and physical torment for him IP: Logged |
