Interesting question. I hope someone can give you a good timing for this. Personally, I'd be more interested in the fact that if this hypothetical embryo takes, where does that leave the child's birth chart in 40/41 weeks time? You have the opportunity to play God, why not have fun with your child's natal chart? IP: Logged |

Fascinating question. There is a whole branch of astrology devoted to health and disease, and perhaps an expert in this area could answer. At the very basic, I would suspect a good timing is when the moon is from new to full, and in a water sign without adverse aspects from Saturn, Pluto and Urauns. Also moon in Taurus could be good, though the current transits to Taurus with Jupiter, Saturn and Saturn making hard aspects to it are not ideal. When Venus and Mars are positively aspected. Positive aspects from Jupiter or Pluto to the moon or Venus or Mars. If you get an Old Farmer's Almanach, it might show you good times for planting and you could use it as inspiration for embryo implantation. IP: Logged |

Yes, thought of that. I've used the lunar angle as peak fertility times as per Dr. Eugen Jonas method. Then looked at times when there were no negative aspects to the ruler of the 5th, or the moon. Although Dr Jonas used these periods as conception times, they also would (hypothetically) also be when the biological reproductory function should be optimal for a IVF embryo implantation. Next, I'm looking at 266 days after implant as the due date and speculating which due date would be the most harmonious with the parents. Any thoughts? I'm getting a lot of clients asking for AstroFertility information, so have started looking into it a lot more seriously.

The person in question has Virgo (a barren sign) on the 5th house cusp, as well as both Saturn and Pluto in the 5th house. The ruler of the 5th (mercury) is in the 12th, and opposite both Saturn and Pluto (in 5th of course). So as you can imagine, having a baby has been problematic. I've seen Saturn in the 5th of many who have delayed or have not been able to give birth until later in life, this is true in this case. I'm concerned about Pluto. she has a progressed new moon coming up in late November 2022, which is exactly the same day of a new moon, however, this date is past the "window" she and her husband wants. My intuition tells me to try to convince them to wait until the progressed new moon. My research tells me that about 30% of these procedures take on the first attempt, so it might be that they need to go another round of expensive egg extractions, fertilization and implants at any rate. Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

^^^ This type of astrology was not my expertise, so it's all speculation. Also I don't have her chart in front of me to see how tight aspects are. I am guessing she is Taurus rising with Mercury in Aries. Right now, transit wise, the latter part of Virgo is currently enjoying a trine from Pluto, but the mid part and early part are at odds with Neptune and north node. What are the transits to her 5th house Saturn and Pluto? What does the father's chart tell you? It might counterbalance the difficulties of the prospective mother's chart. I believe both charts must be taken into account. IP: Logged |

Thanks, I'll check out the pregnancy thread! To answer, the father's chart is a bit less challenging, in fact, he is a libra new moon lunar eclipse, and his Sun Moon fall in her 5th house, and is conjunct her Mar which is also in the 5th house. She is an early Gemini Rising (Barren Sign) and yes Mercury is in Aries. Vesta is just transiting the cusp of her 5th house. Thanks for your insights! IP: Logged | |
