hello hello

my progressed moon will conjunct the progressed descendant in a couple months. while transit south node is currently moving away from my natal moon, north node will conjunct my natal descendant in a few months. this seems like a time where i will want to be around people, which is a big shift as i have been okay being by myself for awhile. (the change also synchronizes with some heavy pluto transits). i also have been feeling extra lonely lately and i feel like a big change is coming.

however the progressed venus is opposite progressed neptune currently and about 1 degree from natal neptune. this is concerning. does this mean that people will be deceptive to me? how do i relate freely and allow people into my life while having this guard up? how has this played out for anyone who has been through it or is familiar with this energy?

new to progressions and wanted to keep this kind of general but will post chart if it will help answer my questions better.

The more I study astrology, the more I feel - just let it happen, no matter what outcomes are.

Your progressed moon is in your progressed 12H for more than 2 years, do you feel secluded/private those times? If so, the conjunction will bring out your personal emotional needs at the stage, which may make you vulnerable if you fall in love with someone.

you have a good point - just part of the journey i suppose.

from web research i would say the healthy take for venus opposite neptune is to be fluid and to keep in mind that things will not be what they seem for awhile.

progressed moon is also in cancer so i feel like ive been drowning lately. ive been reminding myself to swim even though this neptunian fog is THICK and i have no idea where i am going. pluto transit has been opposite natal mars also. all i know is at this time i am learning to be more vulnerable, to stop being so "tough" and independent..

That's your saDescendant.

Your pAscendant/pDescendant mirrors the tSun. Both cycles through the zodiac in a 12 month period.

not sure what you mean by that? i looked up solar arc direction for today and that descendant is about 3 degrees from progressed descendant. this might be too advanced for me at the moment though..

I'd look at prog Venus opposite natal/prog Neptune as a window of opportunity to integrate those energies through an outward (polarized, opposition) experience. If you go into it apprehensive about what someone else might do to you, then you're not in the driver's seat. You are in the driver's seat. So if you're really concerned about it, have a conversation with the universe in which you express your desire for how to utilize the window of opportunity.

The opposition allows for a balancing to take place, often via external, objective experience. If you are carrying any delusions or misconceptions about yourself or life, you don't want to continue that, do you? That's (natal) Neptune in an opposition dynamic. Venus, however, is soft, desirous, wants to create beauty when in partnership with Neptune. That makes it a time of increased sensitivity, tenderness, possibly even an opportunity to experienced heightened romantic feelings about life generally or towards a particular person. If you're worried about harm that could come through that, then consciously verbally co-create with the universe the most beneficial outcome for all involved and affected.

I met my wife during the transit of Neptune square my natal Venus. We married and are still together 12 years later and our relationship is better than it's ever been.

Astrology should move us towards greater understanding and self-acceptance, not feed worries or give us new ones.

Hi, I recall having the conjunction of Prog Ven to natal Nep. It was a time where I fell for someone who wasn't worth my time. I was feeling particularly vulnerable during that period and took the break-up really hard😶

Venus rules my 2nd and 7th and is in the 7th.

thank you kannon. thanks for helping me find solace in this and for reminding me to get back in the drivers seat.

ive been so lost in fear and pain that i am not living anymore. this period of time is probably the most ive cried in my life. also trying to come to terms with all the delusions ive had about myself and life has been suffocating. funny thing is that i forgot (until now) that i had asked the universe to help me become more receptive, to help me integrate that divine feminine that i was lacking.. that i am still lacking..

sidenote: i ran across your chart while visiting your website and found out that we have a DW sun-chiron conjunction. i have sometimes wondered why you came across so comforting when i read any of your posts.
