What sign? Aspect? Can we see this pattern in someone's chart?

No matter how you tell the person or remind them to not do this or that so it can safe them from repeating the same mistake. They still did it, like, wtf, is this called as a naive? Or what? Please, someone can explain why they can't see themselves doing the same thing over and over again? What is the root of this behavior according to planet signs or aspects?

A mix of Saturn and Jupiter. Usually both of them aspecting a planet, a cusp or an angle.

My MIL comes to mind lol And her being 62-3 years old, we do not expect her change herself whatsoever. Not that we mean like change herself and become someone else but positive changes where she can be aware of her actions and behaviours so we can all get along…

I have never looked at her natal chart in detail but I believe she has a great trine in fire signs, Aries ascending, Taurus sun, Scorpio moon. I think she probably has a ton of fixed sign (won’t budge for anything) and fire sign (full of ego, self centered tendencies) energies in her chart.

It’s frustrating to deal with her because she’s not realizing she’s pushing us family apart. Even though she can see that, she will not bow down and stick to her ways and cry about how no one loves her 🤷‍♀️

I can see some of what YellowG said as possibility. Dumuzi too.
Fixed energy is stubborn. Imo Taurus
might be the worst of the four. I think "bull headed" comes to mind but it might be position in the chart too. The Scorpio energy is often obsessive and/or addictive. Repeating that wheel phase, trying to quit something. (I know this one too well).

Aquarius and Leo I just see as stubborn. As if they think "this time it will work". Getting back to the "right causal correction" on their paths. That trying until it just looks insane to an outsider.
On the other side, Imo mutable energy
can fall into this too. I think cardinal as well, the most stuck in the groove may always be fixed though.

Anything to do with mistakes, to me has possibly more than signs to take into consideration. I do wonder if an afflicted Chiron and/or Saturn could bring this energy out for the chart owner. Maybe if they have Saturn or Chiron in a fixed sign?

~ I return to habits, I wish I wouldn't. My Saturn is in a fixed sign opposite Jupiter. Contradictory energy in me. Difficult to fight too. It may result in the energy you are asking about.

lol i didn't want to specifically call taurus out because it really can just be a fixed thing, but taurus was my first thought

watching a taurus' dedication to the same thing that doesnt work for them is as painful as it is impressive

I think we all do it. I think it is an issue of our readiness to be open to life and spiritual evolution and moving forward. Life is just that- repetition of life lessons until we finally get it. I don't know that I attribute that one to specific signs. It's all about whether or not we accept our personal spiritual mission.
