Quite possibly. Imagine being a billionaire and really thinking and feeling that you need more money and wealth* than you already have?

It is perhaps one of the worst spiritual sicknesses to have besides straight up psychopathy.

* But at that point, it is not about money and wealth for the sake of same, it becomes about power and control. I don't remember who said it, but someone said it well when they said, when you can buy anything you want many times over, you come to two paths you can go down. You can start giving back to society, or you become addicted to power and control over others. It seems like most billionaires are more like the latter than the former. And you have some that pose as the former, but really are the latter. Cough, cough Bill Sweater Gateskeeper.
