I'm curious about what everyone's experience have been with a significant (and hopefully positive!) move/relocation.

I'm talking thousands of miles or more away, not right around the corner or within a few hours' drive. What transits do you think triggered you to make this huge change in your life?

Side notes:

A) I'm a bit wary that transiting Neptune is still opposite my natal Moon, though the opposition isn't exact. I've made poor decisions a few times in the past about moving, not picking a bad neighborhood per say but rather choosing somewhere that didn't make me happy. I also have natal Moon trine Neptune. I feel pretty confident this time and did things the traditional way, spending a lot of time in the place I want to move (which I didn't in the past). But it's still making me edgy.

B) are there any RED FLAG transits I should look out for when determining when to move? I'm strongly thinking about between the beginning of November 2021 to the beginning of January 2022, after Mercury retrograde is over...

I have a Scorpio stellium in the 12H, so I'm worried that a Mars in Scorpio transit in my 12H at that time of year isn't great. Or maybe I'm worrying too much [?]

Thanks, everyone.

Assuming an accurate chart (Asc, IC) ...

- Major moves are timed by combinations of major transits of Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto transits through 4th house and/or to IC, in longitude or declination. Sometimes Saturn and Neptune are involved.

A) The most important part of any move is going to a place where you fit and can be happy. Nothing else matters. You don't need to astrologize this. Simply communicate to the universe you want to know the place on this planet where you most belong and can be happiest. Tell it to make it as clear as a neon sign so that you cannot miss it. This is most effective when done in a meditative state free of all worry or other concerns. I've done this. It works. It took me over 2000 miles from where I'd lived for nearly four decades. I'm much happier here.

Once you know where to go, everything else will fall into place if you are patient for your windows of opportunity and determined to do whatever it takes to get there and stay.

B) No. If you have A, then proceed as the doors open. I moved to Portland during Mercury-Rx and started a new relationship here during Venus-Rx. Don't fear these, learn from them and through them. If Mercury is Rx, then delay home purchase until it is past (if you can). Otherwise, just read the fine print very carefully and don't set aside your intuitions because of how much you may want something.

Started studying astrology in 1996 via the Edgar Cayce material, then Magi astrology and declinations, then found John Willner's work. I'm a world class birth chart rectifier. That took well over a decade to learn after intermediate astrology.
